Coffee was good once I received the correct order, first they served it with cow mild despite ordering with oat milk. The salad bowl for 12£ was very small.

One of those places that people go to simply because everyone else does and it makes them feel like a hipster. Good cakes yes, but fabulously expensive. Below average coffee but no one seems to mind. Very poor service, I was treated like I was invisible despite clearly struggling with a baby in arms, staff allowed other customers to push in front simply because they were louder. If all you want is a fresh pour-over coffee made with love and a tasty scandi-bun then this is not for you, find a friendly independent who appreciates your custom and doesn't trade off a self perpetuating insta-vibe.

Lovely cup of coffee and sausage in brioche bun. The staff were all lovely and welcoming!

Have previously had superb almond croissants here.
This morning, sit in cafe was understaffed. Refused to take order at counter; told us to wait for table service. We waited and waited, and then gave up, and went to the takeaway bakery next door.
Got a very good cinnamon scroll there. Skinny lattes we ordered were not skinny though

Overpriced. Bad quality. Charged me eat in when I took out a chocolate cookie that was like biting into a rock. I would have to be held at gunpoint to go back

Great pastries and coffe is ok. Nothing special. Don?t be fooled by the big Q out the door. They are exceptionally slow at serving both at the cafe and the take away. It might be there machine and the staff and processes.

I visited the Aldeburgh branch of Two Magpies with a friend today; upon entry we were informed that they couldn?t offer bubble and squeak or the vegetarian breakfast but there were plenty of other options so we weren?t too bothered. I asked for a GF menu which was extremely similar to the regular one (unusual and FAB!). I attempted to order the smoked haddock on toast, however, was informed that this was also out of stock? I settled for the Lebanese salad bowl as 3 options had been eliminated. This arrived promptly but was missing the gluten free croutons mentioned on the menu which was disappointing as this was the main ?substance? of the meal if you will. I asked the server who was helpful and went to ask the chef why they were missing but I was informed that they didn't have any at the moment and could offer me a slice of bread? I felt disappointed that I had essentially paid £13 for a bowl of lettuce and would?ve appreciated knowing there would be no croutons upon ordering, as I certainly would have picked something else! All in all, a pretty underwhelming visit and felt as though my needs were not taken seriously nor catered to appropriately.

A wonderful treat recommended to us by our friends who live in Aldeburgh. The friendly bearded chap behind the eat-in side was kind, happy and very quick - which was fantastic. The selection on offer was amazing. Can?t wait to come back here!

Friendly staff but terrible drinks, a hot chocolate and mocha both not mixed very well. Not discovered until it was to late by which time you had a third of a cup of un drinkable ?sludge? ! Tough Eccles cake as well, which tasted good but pastry rather tough.
Disappointed!

The gluten free options were amazing, a nice breakfast menu is presented when you arrive, with many options for a wide range of people
