Absolutely lovely place!
Came here during my holiday and I was very happy with the kind service and pleasent atmosphere. The place looks lovely and well kept. Ever the bathroom was nice, it's not normal for there to be free stocked up sanitary pads and tampons as well as perfume. Very thoughtful.
We spent a good amount of time playing darts inside and cards outside in the very well decorated beer garden. There is also a pool table here, which is the best asset to have in a pub.
I'm very happy to come back again.

Live music on every weekend as well as karaoke once or twice a month.

Nice pub,think they also have live music sometimes, doesn't have a car park, so can be a bit awkward but well worth a visit.

Stopped off for a couple of drinks while staying nearby for a few days. The man serving was very friendly and drinks reasonably priced with good choices. Nice to visit a traditional type pub rather than the chain ones.

Unfortunately only found this pub on our last day, popped in for one and stayed for a few more...such a warm welcome and service from the landlord, friendly locals and tasty pork scratchings! Dog friendly with treats for them too.

So pleased to have our local pub back! We need to use it or lose it! Adnams have done a cracking job of redecorating after the state that the previous tenant left it. Mark, the manager, so bubbly, eager to please, quick to know names, and your drinks order! It's really great that they have started having small music evenings too with local musicians. Well done Mark and Adnams.PS. This is a "wet" pub and there are no rooms to let currently.

Great local pub easy access to Aldeburgh High Street and the beach. Don't be deceived by the outside. The "pub" menu is so worthwhile. The landlord is an amazing chef and food is tasty, generous portions, and best price in town. Good beer, Guiness is the best around. We tried the cocktails on offer with pretty low expectations, but they were proper cocktails not the syrupy weak drinks bars often serve. 2 beautiful gentle pub dogs and lively landlord.

Friendly pub, great food, decent menu, lots of choices. You certainly won't leave there hungry, dog friendly too.will certainly be back, great value.
