This is a very friendly pub/restaurant but the food could have been a bit better. We shared a vegan larb for the starter but the chilli was so strong we couldn't finish it. First day of a 3 days away They were v busy but we were able to get a table outside, we had a drink and the food arrived well before the estimated hours wait . Food was excellent, the belly pork was the most tender I've ever eaten and the tofu delicious. Well recommended, and we'll be back on our next trip

Takeaway collection was much later than they promised as they seem to be prioritising walk-ins. A genuine apology would have helped. Food was average. Rather dry and a bit bland but very generous portions.
