I came to Aldeburgh specifically for a good fish dinner and found it here, simply but perfectly cooked, buttery samphire and mussel sauce, new potatoes. Perfect.

I went there to celebrate a graduation party and the place was fantastic (except for the rain haha). Staff were super patient and friendly with our big group. Everyone loved the food and it was a great place to celebrate. Big thanks to Oliver who helped me organise and set up a private area for us all. Thank you so much! ??

I had lunch with my family here today and it was so excellent that I felt compelled to write this review! Every single dish that came to the table was exceptionally delicious. The fish and chips might actually be the best battered fish I?ve ever had (!!!) and the tempura prawns and gravadlax that my Son and I shared for starters were perfectly done. The pear tart and ice cream we had for afters was absolutely divine? and also vegan (I can?t eat dairy and usually struggle to find a dessert offering that isn?t mango or raspberry sorbet). My parents come here weekly and I honestly can?t believe I?ve never eaten here before, but I am already looking forward to returning!! I would highly recommend!!

We had dinner here last night. It was really good. 3 adults and 2 kids. Great food. All were very well catered for. Not cheap but I felt it was reasonably priced. Decent wine for £25/30. Highly recommend this place.

Had dinner here on a quiet Wednesday. Really lovely mackrell terrine starter and frangipane to finish. Mains were good too, although not exceptional. Friendly service.

This is a very lovely restaurant. The food was sublime, one of the nicest meals I?ve had and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be eating here again. Highly recommend.
