Came today for race day staff behind the bar were so rude to a old man I ended up helping him when staff served the drinks they just slop on bar having it spill everywhere no manners terrible experience

Went for a full English breakfast, honestly it was brilliant everything cooked perfectly, should of took a picture I?ve eaten all over in cafes charging £8-14 for a full English breakfast this has been the best, asked for poached eggs instead of fried, no probs staff great, free refill coffees, two of us had 2x breakfast,coffees and orange juice £18 ?

Went in a couple of weeks ago, beer is fine, cheap etc. it was a Saturday, every table was covered in used plates and glasses. Ordered a cheeseburger and chips. Might as well have had a rustlers burger. It was tiny. We?d been waiting a while so I think it had been left and forgotten about.. it was rock hard and cold. We moved tables twice and ended up by the door to the smoking area, where staff stood there with the door open, talking, blowing in freezing cold on us. Probably go there for drinks, but food? Never again. Worst spoons for food I?ve ever been to.

Can be quite busy at times, especially on a race day (check before going) but generally quite a nice spoons. Always decent value food and the staff are always very friendly.

A better than average Wetherspoons. Friendly staff and good service.
Most of the dishes are as expected. Excellent curry menu on Thursdays.
