Lovely, friendly and welcoming staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Pleasant atmosphere both inside and out. Impressive selection of toiletries in the ladies' toilet. We always come here when we visit Uttoxeter. Fabulous place.

This pub is truly amazing. Dog friendly and families welcome. The Landlord Dennis Law and all of his staff are friendly, welcoming and genuinely care about serving the customers. If you ever travel to Uttoxeter Staffordshire call in and experience it yourselves. I can honestly say that you will return, the cleanliness is superb and the banter is the best. Great pub in the town centre , lovely welcome from locals and landlord Denise :) great drinks selection with decent prices , I used the new Order and Pay system and got a further 10% discount bargain!!

Been here many times,good to sit outside in summer watching the world go by.. Close to shops. fair price for drinks. There are really nice staff behind the bar, especially on Saturday 6th January. 5pm onwards. Always smiling.

I came across this gem of an establishment by accident and I am so glad I did. Louise and Nigel (landlady and landlord) were both welcoming and accommodating. Ryan who was on bar duty was absolutely tremendous. There are a wide choice of lagers and ales available. I had the Guinness which was superb. There is a jukebox in the bar which is frequently used but not overpowering. There is a pool table in the smaller room and sports on TV. The pub is dog and family friendly with a really relaxed atmosphere and the banter from the locals is nothing short of hilarious. Thank you Louise,Nigel, Ryan et al for a fantastic afternoon. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Warmest regards.....Martin.

I have never really experienced a more welcome traditional pub in my life I have always felt welcome by the owner Louise, the pub is somewhere I can open and be my self I am always happy when I walk through the door. The music is always playing and makes me smile when we have a singer along.

An amazing pub that takes pride in its locals and welcomes all old and new customers with open arms and nothing but friendliness!Pints are great with decent prices and all staff members are polite and very friendly. By far my favourite pub in the area.
