No slope to reception so have to pull all luggage up the stairs, When arrived at reception not even a smile could be cracked on the women?s Face then we were put in a room over the other side of car park up a flight of stairs with all luggage and mobility issues (no lift) we had 2 rooms booked as we are a large family the rooms were FILTHY!
Mould all in the bathroom dust on most surfaces, stains, poo on the toilet paper holder
Just not the standards you expect.
Location is very good with access to fuel, adds express, Gregg?s, Burger King and Starbucks right next door

The hotel room was up to date,
Heavily understaffed, 3 members of staff between the hotel & restaurant.
Couldn?t have a table for at least 90 minutes even though it wasn?t busy.
Long waits at reception while staff were over at the restaurant. Buzzer was pressed multiple times.
With some better management & more staff this would be a spot on hotel.

One night stay for a trip to Alton towers. Haven't even been here 2 hours and the room 10 electrics tripped and lamp with exposed wires was hanging off the wall. Very unsafe to have our toddler in the room and have no lights atall in the room.
Went to reception, lovely Carolyn was great but could tell they are extremely short staffed, she was running from one building to another trying to sort everything out. Which ultimately left us waiting near enough 40 mins in the dark with no idea what was going on. She was trying to sort us out plus check in numerous guests and go back over to the other building. Her buzzer was going non stop, I felt incredibly sorry for her. She did her absolute best to sort us a new room as quick as she could, so I cannot fault her service, she was overworked! Management need a good look at how they are with their staff, poor woman! She couldn't apologize enough, and did give us free breakfast aswell. Thank you Carolyn, hopefully you are greatly appreciated for the hard job you are doing!

Firstly it?s a great place to go to if you are visiting Alton towers. It?s just off an A-road aswell so it?s easy to get to. The rooms are standard - you get what you pay for. The restaurant however was disappointing. Usually I find them to be good however the staff were unorganised and there was no clean cups or plates whilst we were there. There was a lack of options and the food was a little ?

Great one night stay booked at short notice. Really good buffet cooked breakfast plus fruit, cereals and pastries.

The food and service in general was really good and we got free chocolate at dinner. The only thing I wasn?t really impressed with was the room it was all good but the corridor smelt like bleach and we found out it was coming from our room either way it was really good

First time staying.
We stayed Christmas Eve and Christmas night.
Room was lovely and clean.
Quiet and peaceful
Breakfast both days was of a high standard
Staff were helpful and friendly.
A great option to stay at when visiting relatives nearby

I have emailed to complain but had no response.
We complained about a smell as soon as we walked into the room, we were told that the receptionist had been in and sprayed air freshener but thd room smelt worse when we got back from the races and not of air freshener either.
The room cost 185.00 for 1
night and was definitely not a Premier plus room

Our first room had some mould issues but when we spoke to Carolyn in reception she was very kind and accommodating. She promptly spoke to Alex the manager who set up a new family room for us and helped us with oit luggage to swap. They were both very approachable and apologetic for the inconvenience
