It's a nice sized store which stocks many items. Love the rosissary which stocks the legendary bacon joint, a keto meal right there! They also have great offers and discounts of select lines. The only issue about this store is the parking, no one seems to know whats going on with it. Says a free for an hour, but when you put your reg in after an hour it says free, no fee to pay. I know people who have got tickets here so it really needs sorting out as even the asda customer service desk have no clue how it works. The signs, the machines and asda all tell different rates and restrictions, I just go to the other supermarkets now so I dont get a fine.

This is a self service only store, do not attempt a big shop here. Limited craft beer selection.
Free parking for the last 6 months is a positive

Scammed during my visit there. There was no sign telling you to pay any parking fee and we thought it was free. Got a mail today to pay for a £70 parking fine for a 20 minutes visit. Nice..

Absolutely shocking, got stung by the parking on a family trip to Alton Towers, we stopped in here to buy lunch and extra clothes because of the cold, spent over £70. Then 2 weeks later I get a parking fine. The signage is VERY misleading, I now see on Google street view that it says 2 hours max in big letters, which is usually the free period in any other supermarket, then in tiny letters underneath it says 'parking charges apply'. No signage within the store whatsoever that I saw, reminding people to pay. So many complaints but no extra signage!!! Asda, just change the signage!!I see you are advising people to contact you to have it cancelled but I have already paid so I guess there is zero chance of that happening. Come on Asda, do something or I will boycott all your stores forever!!! And tell everyone else to as well!!

Contacted them via twitter in regards to a parking fine. They said they were requesting a cancellation on their part. I hadn?t thought about it again until today when I received a letter from a debt collection agency asking for £140. The original fine was only £70! We?ll be visiting the area again soon and won?t be shopping at Asda again.

I didn?t get the name of the worker, but whoever was at the self checkout section yesterday at 9pm (ish) wearing the cool green flower hair clips was SO LOVELY! A great help for two clueless gals who had never been in the shop before, and made us feel at ease. I work in retail and it can be stressful so for her to be super nice was just great :)

Since Asda decided to employ ANPR car park camera surveillance I find it too risky to shop there anymore. I have a blue badge which should entitle me to free parking whatever vehicle I am being driven in. However registration of your blue badge and a fixed associated registration vehicle number is obliged. This means I have to queue up every time I am transported by a different car to re-register my blue badge. Sorry but it's too much trouble to shop at ASDA. I'll shop elsewhere because they don't have the same harsh policies as ASDA.

Sonya on the self service tills was really really helpful and nice. Just a shame there aren't any normal tills open, as older people will struggle with touch screen self service tills.
