Awful customer service! Rude and unhelpful woman named Kim. Customer service is nonexistent. Feel sorry for the lady and young lad who had to work with her . Still fuming at the death stares and raised eyebrows from her all because I had a large order with different collection codes. Didn't want to help me with my order and made sure I knew she was frustrated. Definitely needs a new job somewhere not working with people . I wouldn't trust her with animals either.

Bad experience. TV price dropped from £649 to £379 within a week. I bought a second at the cheaper price, with plans to return the original (still unused but had opened box) and get a refund. However, some slight issue with the original box, they wouldn't accept the box that was for the TV as it was from the second purchase (issue with serial on a tiny/removable sticker), despite being EXACTLY the same TV (they agreed and confirmed) and still within the cellophane and all other packaging - it had not been opened, and I had receipts for both purchases from them. Ultimately, I've ended up with two TV's due to a staff member that seemed emotionally upset/angry. Will never purchase from Argos again. And the real issue I have with all this, I was accused of 'fraud' and interrogated over my story, as apparently I had claimed the box had 'never been opened'. Whether that's true or not, I do not recall my exact words, I hadn't realised we needed water tight reasons as it's an innocent/genuine return. Either way, I had meant something along the lines of the TV not being opened/used at all (it still had the film on the screen, padding, remotes still sealed in original packaging, had clearly not been used, etc). She then felt the need to tell me that I wouldn't be able to get a refund on the more expensive version anyway - no idea why. It was the original TV purchased at the higher price I was returning. Madness. Argos, you can do better with your staff onboarding/management.

A couple months ago I walked into this store when it was closed and I caught the male manager getting raw dogged by some bloke. I left immediately, the manager chased after and challenged me to a fight. I?m 98% sure I ran faster than usain bolt that day.

Aggressive, pedantic male store manager. Refused to hand my husband's order to him despite my husband showing him his UK driving licence. He actually threatened my husband and challenged him to a fight. The store manager said it would have been a different matter if my husband hadn't have had our child with him. We are escalating this further. Outrageous behaviour from a person abusing their power during what are already difficult times for everyone. How do people like this make it to a managerial position?

Big shout out to the staff at Argos especially Becky Dolman. I had ordered two toys the same which can come as three different types in the collection and when I received two rainbow ones she went out of her way to replace one of them for the under the sea version. She tried to contact another store to get one transferred and when that wasn?t successful she ordered four in especially hoping that the one my 5yr old wants came in. It did and I had a message at 8am in the morning to say it had. Excellent customer service. Thanks guys

must the worst company on the internet to get an oz of common sense . ask for pond filters , and they show you vac cleaners, or beds ,without doubt beyond belief ,you are really not worth one star. thank god we can go to the store and get some common sense.
