We've just visited your Tamworth store and me and my partner were made to feel humiliated. We purchased some paint at the nuneaton branch on Monday, we've gone to start painting our living room this evening and realised that the paint differs from the tester we purchased as the tester was an easycare paint. Found my receipt and headed there to exchange the 2 unopened tubs of paint. The first lady on the till was nice and polite and told us to go and get the new paint we wanted. When we returned to the till there was another lady called Nat I think her name was looking at the receipt. She first mentioned something about the offer that was on not being on the new ones..which we knew they are more expensive and we was returning 2 and taking 3 so we knew there was a difference in price. When trying to scan our receipt, the till couldn't scan it as the ink on the receipt was abit patchy in places. Then Nat told us she wasn't going to do the exchange as on the receipt it had written something about customer service. And she's never seen it wrote on the receipt before. I asked are you trying to say its fake? And she said you'd be surprised. She then went to go on and repeat a couple more times that shes never seen that wrote on a receipt before. We felt humiliated, working in retail myself I have abit of knowledge of how the systems work and I asked if the receipt couldn't be scanned could the details not be manually entered to pick up the transaction. The store number wasn't clear on the receipt so Nat went away to try and find it. She came back with her phone and told the lady to enter a number into the store section on the till ,she then entered the other information off our receipt which the till then popped up saying it was purchased from another store and then did the exchange. No apology was offered at all from either member of staff. Me and my partner came out very upset and angry about the whole situation. This would be normally be our go to store for any of our renovation purchases and I can quite easily say that I will be avoiding this store after the way we was made to feel this evening.

Went in for a tap shower ask staff where they were kept directed to item with no problem staff where helpful and polite.

Woman staff are on the ball men staff are lazy didn?t want to assist with heavy items and I had to help him move fence panels but when he went to look for panels in the compound told me to keep out bout didnt mind m moving 5 fence panels cos he was too lazy to do it himself pointed me in the right direction of concrete didn?t want to assist tho got another man to help who was equally as lazy seen more life at the cemetery There was lots of fence panels in the. Compound but he couldn?t get them apparently told me to go click n collect elsewhere offered to do it but how long I was in there for the few items I declined his offer

Went here to get some sheet material which they had plenty of but staff refused to get it off the shelf for us as it was too high up and had to get it down with a forlklift. Not enough staff they said. Absolute joke. Honestly could not believe it.

Called in today to source some timber only to find it shut off very inconvenient as I travelled specifically, oh well looks like B&Q wins out
