Visited Game in Sports Direct but unfortunately like all the other brands this chain has purchased, its being driven into the ground ? No staff on the tills, so nobody to help or answer any questions, disappointing!!

Been there with my 2 daughters and my youngest she wanted a ball to bounce it and she did it a couple of times and someone who works there came to tell us to stop as it?s annoying for people underneath. When I told her what was wrong she said that she works 10 hours and was annoying to her. If u don?t like your job just quit. I work everyday 12+ hours and I don?t complain about nothing to nobody. Shame on you

Friday 04th of July 2025(13:45), the guy on the shoes section was very disrespectful against me, i just want one pair from the inside, he didn't say hello(watching on me like:phhuhh) and just give it to me with the same face(bad manners) !

Long wait at the checkouts as usual. Only one person serving despite a queue. Two other members of staff had walked by the tills but not offered any help.
The checkout member was looking over at the customers as if they knew it was taking too long.

Shocking customer service. Staff are there but clearly don't want to work. Asked for help from someone clearly not doing anything using her phone, she radioed for help that never came.

I would have given 0 stars if that was an option. Went in to buy a pair of trainers. I looked around for a staff member to get me my size. Asked the first member I saw and he said he couldn't help and I needed to speak to another member and pointed me to her. This staff member was talking to someone I went over and she told me to wait. The conversation I heard did not sound like a work related conversation and more personal. I waited and she did not come over. I saw another member and they walked off when they saw me heading their way. Appalling Customer service. I left and headed to JD I would prefer to spend a little more and have a better customer service experience.

Absolute joke, staff are clueless especially at the tills, and don?t do returns/refunds, got something the day prior, took it back in next day unused and tags attached, explained the issue and was told no we can?t accept them but u can have it in store credit, I don?t need store credit as I don?t shop in sports direct normally it was a one time purchase, so now I?m stuck with something that?s useless to me and out of pocket, joke

Staff are rude and do not tell you the policies when buying products. Only when trying to swap etc.

This store has a lift, but the location of display rails outside the doors on the upper level, make getting a mobility scooter in and out of the lift difficult.
I mentioned this to a member of staff that was looking for stock that had been left unattended in the lift, again making access more difficult. Her response was that it was a "working store" and to ask for help. She was quite rude and didn't want to listen to our suggestion that an extra 10-15 cm of clearance would make the lift significantly more accessible.

I went in looking for a pair of trainers and when I asked to if they had a size in stock I was immediately dismissed. Finally someone came over to help me, her attitude was vile and she had no manners at all. She grabbed the trainers and brought the size out to me after throwing the box on the stool and walking away. I had not spoken a word to this girl other than to question whether the size I was hoping was available. When purchasing the shoes the women stood at the counter were stood having a conversation being ignorant to me stood looking confused on where I was to pay. Finally they passed me off the a lovely gentleman who was very polite and well mannered. Overall the attitude of staff is vile and even my friend said as much about their attitude.

The fitting rooms need to be changed IMMEDIATELY. I was trying on SPORTS BRAS and leggings and I?m 5?6 and I COULD SEE people shopping right next to me over the door. While trying on bras a man came back to ?look at tennis rackets? THREE TIMES right beside the fitting room and HE COULD SEE OVER THE DOOR and I only noticed until I SAW HIM IN THE MIRROR.
Made me feel extremely vulnerable and uncomfortable. Changing rooms should ATLEAST allow customers PRIVACY. The doors should be changed for bigger ones ASAP.
FIX. THE. FITTING. ROOMS.

Found the shoes I wanted, but no staff to help me. I went and asked one young lady. She said she'd get someone to help me. Sat around for 10 minutes or so, got fed up, so put the shoe back. Then she came over and reluctantly helped me. Got to the till only to find that they won't refund cash, only a credit note, so didn't bother. Awful, will never go in again.

Well stocked store. Not bad stock either. Swimming costumes fit well.I only put 3 stars though because everytime I do go in this shop I have to use the lift due to having a pushchair. And everytime I go to use the lift there is either bags of rubbish or rails of stock in there.Last time i used it I entered the lift to remove a bag of rubbish thrown to the back. As I was just grabbing it the doors started closing leaving my baby on the other side. I panicked putting my arm out to stop the doors which eventually it did but it was nearly closed.The most recent time going today there was a rail of clothes in there.A member of staff was outside the left on ground floor organising another rail. As I pressed the button I could see her looking. The doors opened and there was a rail...she was already looking at me not moving and I just said can I take this out? And she said ILL take it out. Grateful for this but felt she could have stepped in first without waiting to see the look of confusion on my face initially.
