Just wonderful ! I now have the most perfect glasses thanks to the lovely Alison and Summer . What beautiful staff in the Tamworth, branch it was like visiting close caring friends. Alison not only understood my requirements but went out of her way which such genuine kindness to find exactly what I wanted. I had no intention of buying glasses that day but was so impressed that those thoughts soon vanished. I am absolutely delighted with them , So a big thank you Specsavers in Ankerside Tamworth, especially Alison and Summer who again was just lovely and helpful when I went to pick them up both girls are a sure credit to your company . Many thanks .

The only issue I have is paying £115, it would have cost £230 but Im on the contact lenses thing at £41 a month which means I got a discount price. Why do I have to pay so much money just to see?

I had a concerning eye problem that I thought might be a detached retina so I phoned for advice. After a thorough triage on the phone I had an appointment booked instore. From the moment I arrived I was treated very well and had multiple tests before seeing the optician. I felt most reassured after the optician explained the issue - not a detached retina thankfully - and given advice of what to look out for and what to do if I felt the situation changed. I have been a customer here for many years and have always had excellent service and recommend them to everyone.

After being a customer for 24 years using the contact lenses service and getting prescription glasses the service over the last couple of weeks has been very poor... I had my eye test .. no problems there and my prescription had changed so I was advised I'd need new glasses.
I had chosen new frames and paid in full for them to be then told a week on the day of the fitting appointment that the lenses weren't in stock...ok no problems so I rebooked the appointment for the following week to then again get a phone call on the same day as the fitting appointment to inform me that the Frames I had originally paid for were not in stock either... surely they could have checked up to see if they were in stock at the time of purchase two weeks prior...so I'll now unfortunately be taking my custom elsewhere

What a waste of time my visit was.
As I was a few minutes late the young man said I couldn't be seen even as a glaucoma sufferer and in need of emergency test was turned away thank you for the service anchorside tamworth
