I've been visiting the Snow dome for many years and have seen it get progressively busier. In my opinion there is too many people on the slope. My kids had a beginner lesson and there were at least 6 other groups on lessons. The recreational skiers simply don't have enough room if they are not really good and I saw 3 people in quick succession being knocked over by other skiers at the bottom and queueing. I'd recommend you travel a bit further and go to a bigger indoor slope. Tamworth is just too busy. And don't get me started about the size of the ques. Actual skiing time Vs queuing time for the beginner lift was so disappointing for the money you pay. However, that said, the receptionist was really good when I expressed my issues and they did help with a credit note. So I can't fault their customer service post purchase.

We paid for the beginner frack track lesson for our 13 year old daughter.
The session was for 3 hours.
The majority of the session she was just standing there listening to the instructor.
In total, she went from the top of the slope to the bottom 4 times! This wasn?t because she couldn?t do it, because she could. It was because they had to wait at the bottom until the one instructor took each person up individually.
This session cost over £100! £100 to go down 4 times!
How they can justify this as a fast track ski lesson is disgusting!

Visited for the kinder level 1 and 2 ski lessons. Instructors Harry and Bode were excellent throughout the lesson, gave feedback after the lesson about progressing to the next level. If you have to travel a fair distance like we do, its totally doable to do level 1 and 2 in the same morning we did 8am and 10am for each. These Lessons are on a smaller learning slope not the bigger main slope.

We love this place, over the last few years have been for my snowboard and Ski lessons, the instructors are great, you get your skis and board included in your session. It?s been a great way to get my confidence up before going away. We did a private for our almost 4 year old and Neil the instructor was fantastic with her. The learning through play approach works great, he was incredibly knowledgeable and our daughter trusted him from the off. I?d even made an error in my online booking and reception sorted it out for me there and then, I was so impressed with the service. We drive all the way up from Bristol as we?d never consider anywhere else to get our lessons in. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and instructors you make a huge difference.

Only visited for a drink and to watch my Nephew snowboard but the whole place is really impressive and organised. They have something for everyone. Not the cheapest of places but a lot of fun for all ages.

The charges are very expensive, but the facilities and services do not match the price level.
The staff are extremely unprofessional, with a very poor attitude toward guests!
I will never visit this place again!

We went to winter wonderland what a surprise loads more to see and do than we expected, well run and the mini panto was fun , ill definitely be going next year.

We went to the winter wonderland experience and it was lovely. We could have done a bit longer in the snowy part, it was just so busy that we had to move on from some rides without going on them. The show was amazing, we all loved it! The last part was great. The kids loved the carousel and the activities. A santa meet would have been great to top it all off so we felt that it fell a bit short. We spent a good amount of time there so it was value for money but I feel it needs that bit of extra magic.
Lots of other activities to do on site so we will be back :)

We visited the snowdome for the third time at the end of 2024. The boys absolutely enjoyed a fabulous 2-hour snowboarding introduction session with Josh. Winterwonderland was good too, maybe some mulled wine rather than hot chocolates for the adults would have been more enjoyable. The main reason for only giving 3 stars is due to the rather poor snow condition on the main slope on both days, morning and afternoon sessions. This is a fully controlled environment and the snow depth was inadequate for the heavy usage over the holidays but covering the many icy patches with the blue barriers made a busy and icy slope even more treacherous. Our friends, who both ski at an advanced level, left their 2-hour liftpass sessions after 1 hour due to poor slope condition. Please improve maintenance to make it safer and more enjoyable for all.

A very magical experience for people of all ages.
With activities from Ice skating, skiing, snowboarding, wall climbing, sledging, winter wonderland to the pantomime and animals a really great day was had and so much fun.
There is a parking fee although not expensive.
The panto I'm guessing was seasonal however very funny and I loved the accents
Look forward to returning back
