Stay clear of restaurant should be closed down, oh it has been they just didn't make us aware. Its hotel guests only.
All eat breakfast wasn't all can eat was a plated breakfast took 25 minutes to arrive reheated food. Breads were minimal an budget / frozen fruit, few oranges, an pots of yoghurt / water an milk served no juices we run out, no muffins, theres fried eggs or scrambled eggs but sold out of poached eggs must be from a different chicken, oh and theres no beans. Infact half items not available. One lady running round dealing with everyone and another lady just going awol asked for salt she went outside on her phone instead. Loads of complaints on restaurant floor complete shambles, i felt ill since eating, an left half a plate so ate minimal. Place is so run down didnt know it had been closed to public. Guests with rooms all complaining a dive.
We didn't pay but to fair just praying not ill.

From the moment I arrived, I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of my stay. The staff was incredibly warm, (especially the manger Jay) welcoming, and attentive?always ready with a smile and eager to assist with anything I needed.
The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the amenities provided were thoughtful and high-quality. I particularly appreciated the fast Wi-Fi, complimentary bottled water, and the well-stocked minibar.
The hotel?s facilities were equally outstanding. The pool area was pristine and peaceful, the fitness center was modern and well-equipped, and the on-site restaurant served some of the best meals I?ve had during my travels. Breakfast was a daily highlight?fresh, delicious, and with a wide variety to suit all tastes.
Location-wise, the hotel couldn?t be more convenient. It?s close to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping, yet still manages to offer a quiet, relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.
I honestly can?t think of a single flaw during my stay. This hotel sets the gold standard for hospitality, and I wouldn?t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch experience.

I?ve come up here twice for work and came across all I can say is that Sophie was a gem, she was kind caring and respectful, she always took in on what suits you best she made my stay such a nice and warm welcome. I wouldn?t mind coming back here again for when my next work trip is
May I also add Sophie needs to be recognised for such hard work and dedication to what she puts in on a shift it ain?t easy.

This got to be the worst Premier Inn i have ever been to. Poor service, very limited menu, beer only available in bottles, glass were dirty, coffee machine not working, hot food is not displayed, toilet flush wasn?t working properly, bathroom light not working, no fridge, no iron board, no TV remote?. All of this for nearly £150 a room. Feel like there are trying to cut cost at every corner. ??

Not sure how many rooms have been refurbished here but I got one and 5 stars. Lovely. Breakfast disappointing as coffee machine broken and poached eggs not available. Could supply fried which i could not understand.

Worst Premier Inn experience.
Checked in, all fine room recently renovated and seemed ok. However it was 26 degrees outside and the room had heated up during the day, so naturally we tried to turn the air con on. Windows in room are sealed and do not open.
Air con unit had error message and so we reported to reception, who were not aware of the problem so rung her manager (no issue with the receptionist she was lovely) The receptionist came back to our room to confirm they'd turned the air con off throughout the hotel because they had problems completing the renovation with it on. She offered to find us a desk fan but there were none available.
We couldn't stay in the room any longer without a source of air flow, as we were travelling with a small child (and we actually value sleep).
The receptionist was 'unable' to book us into an alternative Premier Inn locally, so we did this ourselves via the website and had to pay out again.
At the time of our booking this hotel was advertised as having air con, but this has since been removed from their website. There also seem to be increasing numbers of suspicious, single contributor five star reviews on trip advisor - some may say to bump up the ratings...
Premier Inn did refund the original stay at Tamworth South but not our subsequent booking as this was the additional sum we were out of pocket. They claim this hotel never advertised to have air con, I don't see why you would seal windows of a hotel that didn't. And looking back at previous reviews there is history in rooms.
Definitely recommend this Premier Inn is avoided, shame really as the location is useful. The customer service from PI also left a lot to be desired.

I cannot recommend based upon our experience.
Rooms were reasonably clean and reception staff were helpful.
Location is a little out of the ordinary and everything looks run down.
Apparently going through a renovation, which could be seen by the level of dust and dirty carpets throughout.
Raw meat packaging outside of reception (Richmond sausages) and the same food on the floor in restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
Late opening for breakfast and one staff member seemed to have just woken up or had a heavy night.
Breakfast had out of date food on offer, coffee machine broken and couldn?t provide boiled or poached eggs, which makes me think they had no water as fried and scrambled eggs on offer.
Very limited evening meal menu but evening food was really nice.
I couldn?t recommend this hotel and have asked for some level of refund from Premier Inn. Would have happily moved hotels.

Usually use premier Inn?s, generally all of similar quality. This is dreadful and the worst yet
Paid for breakfast ahead, sold as unlimited breakfast, continental choice dreadful, coffee machine kept running out of milk. Had to ask twice for spoons. Expecting usual buffet style hot breakfast, had to order and took an hour. Chef couldn?t cook poached egg. He?s no chef.
Evening food choice dreadful, poor quality, limited. Most of beer off, not even crisps behind bar. Toilets are a health and safety issue and disgusting.
Bedroom ok, looks like it and public areas have had a lick of paint. Car park full of rubbish, grass area uncut. p
