Disgusting service from this store, I purchased aftershave for my birthday from this store on the 17/1/25 unfortunately and I'm not sure how, I was given the wrong aftershave, I only discovered this once I was home after opening the box I returned the next day and told them the shop assistant had given me the wrong aftershave, but because I'd opened the box, they refused to change it for the one I actually chose, I'm not blaming the assistant she was absolutely lovely, I think the mix up happen because I tried the two different smells by givenchy, and unfortunately ended up with the wrong one, the store manager was as useless and stuck up as you would expect for someone managing the perfume and aftershave departments, she asked why I opened the box if it was the wrong one, stupid women obviously hasn't figured out I only knew it was wrong once box was opened, I haven't even prayed it as I knew straight away a mistake was made, I spend a fair bit on nice aftershaves, I've made a complaint online I get a feeling they will mess me about, but I will be buying the scent I want most like not from boots I even offered to purchase the bottle I should have had, as long as they knocked 20 quid off as apology, I sent them a picture of ny aftershave shelf so they k ow I'm not taking the piddle out of them, they will be losing a good customer, they train their staff to jump on customers as soon as they take interest in aftershaves or perfumes, but when they make a mistake they couldn't care less, extremely bad service

Horrendous service from the pharmacy team.. they never answer the phone.. just keeps ringing. Get more staff, or close it down. Boots is supposed to be a chemist.

I love Boots, but as soon as I walked into this one I was stalked by the security guard he just would not stop following me, and the ship was rammed. I felt so uncomfortable I couldnt browse anything. In the end I spoke to a Boots working just to ask her when I could find products to quickly pay and get out. Worst experience and it made me feel really uncomfortable. I was in my work uniform at the time (clearly branded) and now thinking about it, if I was dressed nicer I may have been left alone. If I was going to steal something I doubt I would have done it in my uniform.

Pat at Number 7 Makeup Counter deserves an award for literally changing my look - I have never had a skin analysis done before and this was super quick. I had previously been buying their amazing Stay Perfect foundation in a Vanilla shade. When Pat matched me with a much paler cooler, i was astounded. Its rare for me to be impressed, that colour actually made me look years younger, the me I remember before the hormones started to ravage my skin.
I think having the wrong colour which was chosen by another store 2 years ago, actually aged my skin, looking at it, it was probably casting shadows as my skin has always been quiet fair.
Pat, thank you again for giving me back my look - I look and feel a million dollars??

What a dreadful experience we have had today.
The tills are all self serve, which were awful.
After scanning every item we wished to purchase, we had to have a member of staff come to us.
Then, the complete Advantage Card system is not working today which means I was unable to scan my card for any points, or use any of the offer coupons which I had intended to use.
Then to finish off, the till roll ran out and we had to wait for a manager's key, which was held elsewhere in the store, before we were able to have a printed receipt.
This is an absolute shambles and I will not be rushing back there in the near future.

Boots staff are friendly and helpful however what really lets this place down is the over intimidating security guard. Every time I enter this branch he follows me around and watches me. I find it extremely stereotypical just because I?m a male, mid 30?s wearing a cap. I hope management can address this issue as it?s putting me off shopping here.

Had a lovely experience on Saturday at boots with a lady called Lucy (working in the makeup department) went above and beyond with me trying to get the correct clarins moisturiser and bareminerals foundation. She really took the time and care to make sure I was happy, no rushing. Brilliant service ?

Used to be a brilliant pharmacy, there used to be a gentleman in a purple shirt from Aston university on the pharmacy counter who was absolutely amazing and knew his stuff with recommendations and being ultra supportive and understanding, unfortunately he doesn?t seem to be working there anymore and the standard of service from the pharmacy department has absolutely plummeted with the counter having staff who don?t care at all serving with me having to repeat the problem to 3 or 4 different people. Super disappointing.
Edit* most of the people even on the pharmacy counter seem to be there for the sake of it without a care in the world sometimes even giving sarcastic and rude comments which is absurd. I appreciate the reply but I?m sure my disappointment is shared by many. Really gone down hill! Will not be returning. There needs to be a thorough review of the staff and training on how to actually speak and listen to customers.

Do not pay for your prescriptions to get delivered from this store!!!
I paid for delivery on prescriptions from this store after the branch in Ankerside closed down. My prescriptions were not delivered when they were ready and when chased up over the phone they had to keep asking me if I had actually paid for a years delivery before they sent them. Now I can't even phone the store to ask why they haven't been sent yet because no one answers the phone. My only alternative is to travel down there and pick them up myself which defeats the purpose of have paid for delivery for the year. I won't be renewing for the service next year and I won't be using Boots for my prescriptions again.
