I moved into my house February last year 2022 and didn't have any gas so I reported it only to be told it was my responsibility and call my energy supplier, I thought that should have been checked when I moved in. About six months later I reported the shower in the bathroom was either boiling hot or freezing cold. I reported it as instructed and was told it wouldn't get fixed as the landlord couldn't afford it.May this year I receive an email to say I have a new Landlord, wouldn't it be common courtesy to let me know who that is. This was then followed by an email saying my rent was to be increased, to match the other properties in the area. in the reply email I asked if the Landlord was going to bring the property up to date to match the increased rent. I am still waiting for a reply from that email, I have received and email to say I am now in arrears as the rent has increased. I replied back pointing out I am still waiting for a contract as my previous contract ran out in February 2023. Still no reply to my email apart from a second email to say I am again in arrears which is disgusting as I am still waiting for email replies which I still haven't received not only from the agent but also from the arrears email which says to me they have a definite lack of communication and duty of care to a tenet who has put up with a landlord who doesn't care about his property, he even made an appointment to see me to discuss any further work needed on the property but couldn't be bothered to contact me but sent an email to say he couldn't make it. I waited in all morning for him not to turn up which is just rude.I am now expected to sign a contract which is 2 months late and I get reminder emails to sign something I haven't had chance to read.

Poor Communication if at all any.. half the properties they have to let are either taken or not available but showing on their website as available. How can you put a property on rent and 5 mins later say we have to much interest so we are not taking anymore viewings isn't that the landlords decision?? Then when you do get a property you fill out heaps of paperwork with hidden charges and then they ask you how much are you willing to pay? So someone on a lower budget gives the asking rental price whilst someone with a bigger budget offers more the estate agents pocket the difference... Talk about dodgy.. Awaiting for a response to say they don't know who I am and I'll upload their documents..And the response is like I said... ???
