LakeView Nursing Home, Trentham - Review ? Toby Carvery, Trentham Village
We recently had the pleasure of visiting Toby Carvery in Trentham Village with some of our residents for a delightful Friday afternoon outing. From start to finish, the experience was truly wonderful.
A special mention must go to Simon, whose attentive and warm service made our visit even more memorable. Simon greeted us with a genuine smile and ensured that every need was met with kindness and professionalism. His friendly approach helped create a welcoming atmosphere that our residents and their families greatly appreciated.
The food was delicious, with comforting delightful desserts that were thoroughly enjoyed by all. The relaxed environment, combined with Simon?s excellent care, made this outing a fantastic success.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Simon and the whole Toby Carvery team at Trentham Village for making our day so enjoyable. We look forward to returning soon!

Had an excellent meal here yesterday. Emma, our waitress was friendly and attentive. I didnt catch the name of the carver, but he was calm and friendly, even with a big queue of people. Would recommend, I'll be back!

Toby Carvery never disappoints! The food is always delicious with perfectly cooked meats, crispy roast potatoes, and a great selection of veggies. The service is friendly, and the portions are generous. A perfect spot for a satisfying meal.

Went for breakfast. Only ones there as early and staff were BRILLIANT. so helpful and kind. Friendly yet professional.
Food was ok. Nothing actually wrong so no need to speak to the staff but it all felt a bit tired. Just not loved food. Coffee was delicious and hot and strong. Perfect. Atmosphere was fine for us, we were outside in the morning sunshine as we had the dog with us and it worked great for us n

We visited your pub at Edenthorpe in Doncaster this evening.
What a badly run place this is!!
We waited almost five minutes for a member of staff to greet us to find a table to eat at.
Various members of staff walked past and just ignored us.
The pub wasn't even that busy so not an excuse really.
The food we had (carvery) was ok although the beef was very fatty and chewy.
Not one member of staff came to ask if everything was ok whilst we were eating!!
We left after paying and we noticed that instead of being charged the price we were told-upon checking our bank statement we were charged £2 more!
We phoned the pub a little later to be asked various questions and we're made to feel like we were lying about being overcharged!!
asked who we were talking to and they refused to give their name.
Will be taking this up at a higher level.
If everyone is overcharged £2 it's not bad business for Toby Carvery is it!!!
Won't be returning I'm afraid!!

Atmosphere was very loud and crowded
Kid-friendliness: Not for children by that there's no play areas and you would have to supervise you child at all times demanding of how busy it is
Wheelchair accessibility: All flat area's
