In a beautiful setting, next to a river with plenty of outside seating. Quirky little staircase up to rooms. Rooms were very clean and had a lovely bathroom with great shower. Bed was only a double and we are used to a super king so too small for us. Mattress had a dip at one side. Dinner is Thai menu and food was fantastic, big portions. Breakfast was lovely, cooked fresh to order, hot and tasty.

Very delicious, authentic Thai food set in a beautiful pub-like setting (if you're looking for pub food, that would be at the Talbot pub next door). The food appealed to both first timers and fans of Thai food. Service was exceptional, and they were dog-friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.

We are staying at Alton towers and wanted to try a nice meal locally. A quick search on trip advisor came up with the bridge house. Lasagne and pub food. When we turned up it was now a Thai restaurant but the smell was so amazing we decided to stay.
Well I must admit I don't leave many reviews but credit where credit is due.
Stunning little old converted pub. Nice and clean and staff were lovely.
Best of all the food!! Amazing food and best Thai green curry i've had in years.
Stunning location with a lovely river and seating outside.
Plenty parking spaces.
Would recommend to anyone visiting Alton.
Will be back next time we visit.

Lovely owners and beautiful location, but the walls in the hotel are so thin you can hear everything. We were woken up at 6am by someone on the phone and we could actually hear the voice on the other end of the line. Furtniture in rooms also a little dated (I realise that is the point, it is meant to have an antique look) and bulky, taking up space that could have ena led a bedside table on both sides of the bed.

Spent all day at Alton towers and stayed here overnight, only a 4 min drive around the corner. It was a beautiful place, The room was cosy and the service was amazing! Will definitely stay here again soon.

We were staying at the Alton Towers Hotel and whilst the kids ate on site my husband and I didn?t want to eat on site so we got a Thai takeaway and took it back to our room to enjoy whilst the kids went to bed! The food was absolutely delicious- particularly the Massaman. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly even giving us throwaway cutlery and napkins. A last minute decision to buy a bottle of wine from there as well to go alongside our meal and they even gave us plastic cups so we didn?t have to drink out of a mug! Would absolutely come back and next time will even feed the kids there

We stayed here 23/4/2025, we could not rate this place any higher. We loved everything about it, the food is exceptional, the service was impecable and we honestly can say the service and friendly staff are by far the best. thank you for a wonderful time x

Stayed here for a weekend while visiting Alton Towers and honestly couldn't rate this place any higher! Will recommend to anyone visiting the area and would definitely come back. Excellent food (Massaman Curry), great service (not sure who Benny is but everyone was fab) and the rooms were super clean and high quality. Stunning expensive feel duvet and pillows & lovely clean bathroom! Honestly 10/10 - thank you!

Had an absolutely lovely stay. Binny is so helpful and charming nothing to much trouble. Had the best nights sleep I?ve ever had at a hotel bed comfy linens etc good quality. The pub next door does pub grub but why when you can have authentic Thai food cooked by Binny which was the highlight absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast freshly cooked and plentiful and HOT! Friendly staff I would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you Binny for a fabulous and warmhearted stay.

We stopped to have a meal after Alton Towers. It is only a few minute drive and serves delicious authentic tasting Thai food. There were kids food options like nuggets and chips too. . It is a beautiful location down by the river and has a large, stunning beer garden (we played hide and seek with the kids). The staff were friendly and really helpful. Only one small comment for improvement was there wasn?t a dairy free dessert option as my son has an allergy. That would be easily rectified by having a sorbet or something in the freezer. They actually have created him a fruit platter to have which was really lovely. Apart from that it was perfect!
