I won't be donating here again (the book shop). I understand making money for charity, paying rent etc. But charging RRP (minus 50P) prices is really not very charitable.A charity shop is afterall making money for a particular cause AND offering second goods to people who perhaps can't afford them new.I was shocked to see second paperbacks sold for £8, £5.50 etc. When they are the same or very similar prices online for a brand new copy.I have even seen books in here that are more expensive than buying the same book new from Waterstones. At least be honest with your customers and admit that you are overcharging them and 'this is the reason why".

I haven't been to Hanley for a while, I didn't know they had an RSPCA book shop, it's didn't feel like a charity shop and the 2 girls servo g were lovely and very helpful.
