Embarking on a fitness journey at my local gym has been an adventure akin to navigating the darker recesses of a post-apocalyptic wasteland, where the only semblance of civilization is the communal struggle for survival... or in this case, hygiene and hydration.Firstly, the urinal situation is a fascinating study in modern art - a single, perpetually broken monument that serves more as a mausoleum for abandoned chewing gum than a functional piece of plumbing. The aromatic bouquet of urine that wafts through the toilets and changing rooms adds a certain je ne sais quoi, creating an ambiance that screams, "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here." The soap dispenser, singular in its loneliness, stands by the sink, a testament to missed opportunities and squandered potential, whispering tales of what could have been in a world where two dispensers could have flourished.Venturing further into the heart of darkness, the water fountain saga is a thrilling tale of endurance and patience. At peak times, a congregation of parched souls forms a line reminiscent of the bread queues in Soviet Russia, each member awaiting their turn to partake in the trickle of life itself. The solution seems simple: out with the old, in with a new fountain capable of spewing water with the ferocity of a fire hose, lest we all perish from dehydration or die of old age in the queue.Lastly, the gym members, a delightful bunch, seem to have taken a collective vow against the tyranny of literacy and order. The weights, in a defiant protest against gravity and common sense, are scattered in a chaotic symphony of iron and rubber. This disregard for organizational norms could be seen as a bold statement against the oppressive regime of labels and designated spots, or perhaps it's just a testament to the educational system's failure to instill the value of "putting things back where they belong."In conclusion, navigating this gym is not for the faint of heart. It requires a resilience and sense of humor as robust as the gum-clogged urinal.

Filthy, it clearly isn't being cleaned properly. Go the other PureGym in stoke it's grotty the changing benches clearly have never been hoovered with a layer of grime and detritus in the gaps. Smells too. Avoid at all costs.

Great Gym ppl certainly put the work in,yet they park in the Disabled Bays and won't walk another 100yds,has a wheelchair user I need the extra space open my door etc,assemble my wheelchair, there's only half a dozen genuine Disabled that use the gym and we all have to use of 3 car parking spaces, please Management sort it out ? amazing how many Disabled Taxi drivers frequent the gym ?

Came today full of optimism at trying a new gym after being with JD for last 6 months. Sadly was left feeling disappointed. Weights left all over the floor. Weights section was a mess. All in wrong place. Empty monster cans chocolate bar wrappers and used tissue paper on floor. Machines were OK. Will be trying north tomorrow as I don't think I will be back.

Great place for a workout. Been workout out here for the past 4 months and every time I had any issue the staff was quick to act. 10/10 gym.
