Left me without a Dr's gave me 7 days to leave when I moved home when I was away from home and could not do this. So this stopped my medication which is for mental health reasons and it is extremely dangerous now I can't go and sign up for a drs and don't know how to get my medication

My mother was a patient of this practice for 50 yrs. When diagnosed with a terminal illness last year was "treated" appallingly. Medications were always incorrect, home visits were frowned upon as we all dragged heavy medical equipment to surgery. Changed surgery's. Let down. Remember Dr Seddon? :-)

It's absolutely shocking, they never answer the phone. To the point I've sat in reception, called and the receptionist just ignored the phone. My son recently burnt himself quite severely, ended up at A&E, unfortunately the prescription I had from the hospital wasn't available, I went to the Dr's and asked for an alternative, 3 days later and still nothing, no update no follow up to the point I visited the Dr's only to get told I've got to wait for the Dr to review the prescription. I called back later, no answer. After driving to the Dr's and going in 3 times to chase this up I was told they would call me when it was ready. Two days later nothing! This is absolutely disgusting and disgraceful to the point I'm considering legal action. A child with severe burns has not being able to receive any medication for nearly a week, all because a severe lack of professionalism and ability to carry out a simple task. I can only hope this is down to incompetent receptionists and not bad Dr's. It will be the last time I visit this Dr's, I'm fortunate enough to go private, unlike most people. This place gives the NHS a really bad name, shame on you all.

Phone is always engaged making it impossible to contact them. Wouldn?t put me on a repeat prescription so would have to go a few days without my medication until I could finally get through on the phone but even then the doctor I can only assume would forget to sign/approve of the prescription and then I?d turn up to the pharmacy thinking they?d sent off my prescription when they haven?t so I?d then have to be standing outside my pharmacy calling the doctors hoping that it won?t be engaged to ask again for my prescription to be sent over!! This happened every single month until I gave up taking the medication. Whenever I do manage to get through to the receptionist, some can be nice but most are rude which is outrageous considering all patients can feel vulnerable sharing their issue with them. It?s almost impossible for me to ever get an appointment as they started doing only daily appointments and you can?t book one for another day, this has caused me to miss many appointments because I would be driving or at work when the doctor calls me back. Something needs to be done about this place it is going downhill

Terrible surgery for getting hold of. Always engaged. Mess up prescriptions and don't really care about the mental health of their patients.

Update (6/5/21)Rang 5 times yesterday between 10:30am - 5:45pm and was told repeatedly the doctor has not looked at my medication request.I was so low last night I contacted the Samaritains as this doctor also knows about my mental health struggles.Feel very let down by this surgery time and time again. Over 7 hours yesterday the doctor never looked at my request for a problem I actually came in to see him about in April. The attitude of the receptionist are terrible. They are increasingly trying to take the place of a doctor and not a receptionist. When I ring it feels like an immigration process. I've been abruptly spoken too by a couple of the female receptionists in the past. The Dr I came to see recently does not put me at ease atall infact I feel uncomfortable. I feel there's no patient and Dr relationship atall. I feel that I am just a number on a piece of paper. The same Dr tried to stop my medication which I have took for 2 years when I had asked for an emergency supply due to running out and forgetting to order my repeat. These are Opioids and highly addictive and I was shocked that when I mentioned this to him on my recent visit that it was him who had tried to stop my meds immediately with no proper control. He said he would not have done that. It was him!!What's happened to the health staff. Use to be so friendly and open. Not now you are lucky to get a smile from most!

I get a text about arranging a flu jab but when I ring up to make an appointment the phone is continuously engaged. When by a miracle it rings I get a recording telling me about all the rules and don't turn up before ringing first then wait for a receptionist to answer. No answer then the call times out. I won't get my flu jab at this rate, thanks for nothing.
