Ivy at hanley potteries jd is brilliant!!! Shes a credit to the store amazing customer service shes patient friendly and very helpful lovely colleague!! Also her manager shannon is excellent great helpful manager with respect for her team love all the staff at hanley best store tidy friendly!!!

Went in store to buy a pair of trainers on 06/07/24 and it was very busy, but all of the staff were either standing around being unhelpful or were all mobbing one customer (there were 4 members of staff helping one customer who seemed very angry at something). After 30 minutes of waiting for assistance, and then a further 15 minutes of actively trying to get a meme we of staff to help, I got in the queue with the display trainer to hand only to be told after 20 minutes of queuing that a member of staff would need to put the shoes I wanted behind the counter before I came to pay.
After explaining the situation, I was simply told ?sorry, I can?t help? which really meant ?sorry, I can?t be arsed to help?. Because of this total lack of effort, JD has missed out on ~£140 of business from me and my partner today.
Useless is an understatement and I?ll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Awful customer experience. Placed two orders with the store. The first I can?t cancel until they have sent the package from their store back to the warehouse where they order them in from? don?t know why I have to wait for this when I made the order through the store??? The second order is lost and the store can?t find any info on. They then told me they can?t do anything about this order I will have to chase the order myself even though I made the order through them?? And it?s them who have lost the item???? Also told me for the same order that the warehouse often make a lot of mistakes and don?t send parcels, I asked them to check this and they told me I will have to call them,? again even though it?s their order and they have lost it. Also told me that they usually send orders back after a week and a refund takes 10 days? this was a month ago and still nothing??? Completely dysfunctional store where no one seems to know what?s going on. In disbelief at poorly ran this store seems to be!

I was dealt with by a lovely girl called Ava. I cannot commend her patience enough! Although it was busy she made sure to help and advise. She?s approachable and always eager to help, will very much look out for her the next time I?m in store.
