“What a wonderful find! I’m afraid i’m somewhat of a DIY disaster. We were trying to get some wood for some shelving around our new home. We went to a chain DIY store but couldn’t find exactly what we need. As it was after 12 on a Saturday there weren’t many businesses open but this one was! Beautiful family run business, served by a gentleman whos grandfather started the business, wood was professionally measured by the son of tge gentleman and cut (with supervision) by the grandson. So lovely to find such a wonderful local gem, one of those “has everything” kind of shops! Thankyou all so much for your wonderful and helpful support. We will be back!!”

“Needed a small amount of stone coloured paint after a plastering job behind a radiator, they couldn't have been more helpful as they mixed a small sample pot for me at a very reasonable price and was an excellent colour match and plenty for the job to be done.. Thankyou.”

“Very well organised, nice selection of stock, friendly workers who are willing to chat and help you, basically everything you want in a record store. They also give you the disc at the counter, which is always a big plus so that nothing is stolen, and my cd was also in perfect condition, very reasonable prices to. Its not too overwhelming, just a nice cosy little store. I'll definitely be returning here, its nice to see that out of all the places shutting in hanley, the record stores are surviving.”

“Free car park with a time limitation.Good space between the aisles.NO bakery!!! Good selection and choice.Still not convinced I can do a full weekly shop at Aldi as choices are limited (see cans of fruit types as an example).”

“Large selection of teas and hot chocolate. You can choose a really good tea, because in regular stores there is very little choice. You can try delicious hot chocolate for free. The staff is excellent.”

“An honest and friendly service. From beginning to end, the staff could not do enough for me, very helpful and professional and honest. The fitters arrived on time and ive never met tradesmen who were as clean, peofessional, friendly and hardworking as Dream doors' fitters.The salesman was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and honest. “We were greeted on arrival but not felt pushed by this. They even opened the store ten minutes early as we arrived earlier than the opening times. We were advised to use the computerized scheme which helped to test the correct mattress that suits your needs. From there we were advised of the mattresses that would be most comfortable for us. We were allowed to have time to ourselves to test out what was pointed out to us along with advise on the correct pillow to complete the comfort. A nice cup of coffee was served to us before we wanted to make our minds up in which was the correct purchase for our needs. We were served by Jane who was very pleasant and helpful, not pushy in making a sale and wanted to ensure we were happy in our choice of mattress and divan. We purchased our previous bed from Dreams and returned because were we happy with the time they take with you. All the aftersales was discussed with us; the eight year guarantee, etc. I would definitely recommend 'Dreams' to anyone thinking of purchasing a new bed.Thank you 'Dreams'Tracey”

“It's a stationery store which sells paper, paper products, printers etc.. DHL express service point is inside this business. The store was clean and tidy. The staff was polite and available for any queries. I even found some printers at a lower price than it appeared on the websites. For printing bulk documents, they do a favorably lower price. As there were no titles on the aisle, it's a bit tricky to find the items.”

“We have had our faith in human nature resorted this morning. Good old fashioned service. Washing machine died so went fenton domestics 9.30am had fantastic advice and great price. New washer delivered and installed by 11.45am, old washer taken away. We will definitely be back when needed”

“We had a faulty sensor on a brand new boiler and had no heating for 7 days, we have a baby aswell. We'd rang the manufacturer and they weren't helpful at all. Our engineer rang Wolseley and they said it was OK to take a part off another boiler and use it. Thank you Chris at Wolseley. Top class service 👍”

“One of the smaller ones , but you can get most stuff here. The only main issues is if you have anything heavy on a trolley, your better of moving your car to the enterance than pushing the trolley up the car parks steep hill”

“Brilliant you don't have to wander about looking for what you are after, you just walk upto the counter and ask a member of staff they then check to see if its in stock and they go and get it for you, of course you can also look online order what you want then go and get it or have it delivered also there's the catalogue you can look through then you have the same choices fetch it or have it delivered any one of those can save you a lot of time and its not expensive either.”

“Recent revamp makes the store appear a bit bigger than before but confusing for old used to customers. Decent parking for about 20 cars including disabled and child parking which is a plus along with ramp access.”
