Ordered on line today checked in stock ? paid then had a phone call hr later to say the product was damaged and the couldn?t sell it. Asked if there were any other stores that had the same product in or when could one be delivered. Staff rang round and no other stores had on in stock and the main warehouse were also stock.
A refund was offered ?.
Thought I?d just ring around myself to see if any other local store had one - guess they never did ring round.
Apparently Halfords stores cannot send products to other stores and you have to wait 3-5 working days for a refund.
Aways go what I need from Go Outdoors and £25 cheaper.

Fantastic experience, i was helped by Ben from the bike service team at the Stoke branch. He couldn't of been more helpful, talked me through everything, in language I understood. Clearly articulating what i needed and he assisted with carrying and moving of the products and i am extremely pleased with the experience. 5 stars is an understatement, i will be returning and i will also be highly recommending to friends and colleagues. Ben was exemplary.

I dropped my sons bike off to Halfords at Festival Park and told them about some kids at his high-school messing with it, disassembling it and making it unusable. After trying to reassemble it myself, something was missing. They took the bike and next day, I got a message it was done.
When I collected it, the gent that did the word told me there was no charge. It was only a small part but he told me that he really hates it when kids are put in danger and he sought approval to do this fix free of charge.
I am incredibly grateful and although I would have been happy to pay, this gesture is amazing!

I had a new battery fitted at the Hanley branch. The member of staff who fitted the battery was very friendly and efficient. I?m pleased that I used Halford?s to fit the battery, as I didn?t know that there was a battery re-set function on the BMW, which needed to be activated.

I would like to commend the service at Halfords Hanley and particularly Louis.
Absolute service as it should and went above and beyond.
Rocked up at 19:45, 15 mins before closing, having just found out one of my headlights had blown. Vehicle couldn't be found on the in-store self help touchscreen so I asked for assistance.
Turns out this was not Halfords system, myself and Louis, the advisor searching the internet couldn't find out what bulb was required and the car had lost its handbook long ago.
No trouble at all, Louis was outside under the bonnet fast in the dark and pouring rain to find out, quickly coming back out with the right bulb and fitted in 5 minutes. All whilst chatting to me about my holiday destination and his experience in Portugal too!
Well done Louis and Halfords for the amazing service.

I needed a new battery and fitting. I entered the store and the young lady took a few details and explained the options to me and then immediately we went outside and she fitted it to my car quickly and efficiently. Great service.
