After purchasing a Beko tumble dryer which turned out to be faulty, and receiving an ?uplift? code from the manufacturer, I called Currys customer service today (Fri 29th Aug) to find out how I could go about collecting a new item (it was less than 30 days old). They advised me to go to the store where I collected the item and speak to someone there, which I did. I was greeted by a young lady called Hooria, who (after getting some advice from a colleague) advised me that she would need to call a number specifically for the stores to sort out issues like this. Nobody was answering, so Hooria continually checked in on me, making conversation and keeping me updated. It took another 30 minutes or so to resolve things, only because no-one was answering the call. But Hooria explained everything along the way, kept us updated and continually reassured us that she was doing everything she could to sort this for us. She was a shining example of excellent customer service. In fact she?s the first person that has EVER convinced me to buy the extra cover for if anything happens to our new item! I really felt for the staff in the store as, despite trying their best to help us using the number they should be able to call for support, no-one was available to help them.
Regardless, they all worked together to get a resolution for us, and Hooria in particular was great. She?s a credit to the business ?

Great store very helpful staff and found everything I wanted, but when it came to ordering as they were not on stock....They couldn't deliver to my home on Wales.....So will have to reorder when I get home hoping I can get the same discount !!!!!

Worst shop for laptops and electrical devices in longton! Curry has very cheap quality! I have paid warranty for well over 2 years almost 200 pound more then the laptop I have paid; yet they didn't replace the monitor or screen

WORST PLACE! They scam you out of 200 pounds! I am in the process of looking for a lawyer in order to file a lawsuit against this disgusting company and shop, the staff are overall very poor and trick people who don?t understand English! I paid for a Lenovo laptop, they specifically told me they would replace the screen, 3 years later the screen is broken, when I bring it guess what happens? NOTHING! They said the repair was 400 POUNDS! That?s more then the LAPTOP!

I purchased I phone 16 pro max from the Longton store. Same day same time of purchase i asked that help desk for the mobile insurance, she said it?s easy you can call our curry?s customer care for insurance . I called but they said someone already purchased your phone earlier you can?t get insurance. Next day I went to ask the the Longton curry?s customer desk but they are misguide me and they tell you will get the cash back after 5 days or you can take a third party insurance from other services . Am very afraid that don?t what to do . Someone knows about the legal side please guide me what I have to do.

Online says it?s in stock, go to the store which is 2 minutes away. Get to the store and it?s not in stock. They can order the phone in but it will take two days when I can do it online for next working day and it?s delivered to my home address. What?s the point in the store with no stock in? Staff weren?t the most customer focused.

We had a lovely and helpful visit to this curry?s, we picked out a washing machine and dryer for our new house. A very nice staff member called Alia helped us with the process and was very pleasant and nice to speak to. Will definitely go back
