Disappointed that my two sons were asked to leave this morning, apparently a new policy being introduced to exclude children from the shop unless accompanied by an adult. I was waiting in the car with my baby for them whilst they went to get themselves a drink for school. Also witnessed another girl asked to leave whose parent were also waiting outside. What a way to knock our teen?s confidence and independence.
Such a shame that school children are no longer able to use the shop local to their school for a drink on their walk too a from especially in these heats we are experiencing.
I?d understand maybe a two kids limit rather than large groups, and assume it?s down to stealing or unpleasant behaviour but adults can be just as bad. Very disappointing.

Very good for a local convenient shop always plenty of offers especially if you are a member. The staff are very friendly and helpful also they do a lot for charity.

Your typical Coop shop, it has a lot of variety of items for sale and above RRP, store does feel a bit cramped in the back but no issues.I did notice there candy selection was a bit bare, not many choices for example no chomps or fudges etc

Good shop carrys a good selection of wines and spirits. Last time I went in the shelves looked a bit empty...but other than that it is a good, handy little shop. The building it's self is massive but inside is extremely small, have been told because it's a listed building they can't expand. Parking outside but it soon fills up but there is more around the back. Staff are always friendly and helpful... shame about the one member of staff who doesn't know what deodorant is. Good fish and chip shop next door and oatcake shop.

They actually engage in friendly chit-chat and offer you a bag and even fill it for you which I find not many coop staff do anymore.
