Lovely service. Rather cold in the cafe though. Coffee ok, best in that area.

Such a shame!
This cafe used to be such a clean lovely welcoming place to have a coffee.
Now it has no atmosphere.
The place is filthy, looks like it hasn?t been cleaned in months.
Rubbish under the food display which has been there a good while.
Floor again hasnt been cleaned in months, with bits of flooring missing.
Seating is dirty.
Staff need to keep their staff managers WhatsApp group to them selfs and concentrate more on making a good cup of coffee.

Step into a run down shabby store to be greeted by staff devoid of conversational skills. Beware of the toilets , although not quite yet at trainspotting standads they are grubby . Shame coffee is good.

I had an unpleasant experience during my recent visit. Despite being first in line, I was overlooked by the staff member who assisted me and had to approach her to place my order.
Additionally, I was charged for an extra cup of coffee I didn?t order. When I brought this up, the staff member claimed I had ordered three cups, despite only preparing two. This felt like an excuse rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the issue, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the other staff members I interacted with were kind and friendly, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, the coffee I received was overfilled, and the lid provided was faulty, resulting in it spilling in my car. This added to an already frustrating experience.
I have been a loyal customer of Caffè Nero and have always been polite when ordering, but this experience has made me reconsider whether I will continue visiting this branch?or the chain in general. I hope this feedback helps improve service in the future.

The whole place needs a revamp. The decor is old and kind of grimy. The last time I went, my coffee was burnt, and my cake was still frozen. The lady who served me was really nice, though. The time before the staff were nice, but I think they forgot I was in there as they were watching videos on their phones and talking really loudly behind the counter. I'm all for staff having a chat and being relaxed at work, but some of the language they were using was a little unprofessional. It's not my first choice for coffee in Hanley if I want to sit in.

The drinks are fantastic both the hot or cold, the staff are very friendly and welcoming each time I go in.
