Worst customer service. Been in the queue for more than 10mins. No one was at till. Customers were waiting in the and colleagues were using mobiles at the back side. Really disgusting.

As soon as I walked in the security guard left the little old lady he was stalking and stood next to me instead. I was surprised to find all the makeup encased in plexiglass housing and you have to bother the staff every time you want to look at anything. I really didn't want to find someone just to browse concealers and the security guard's stare was very uncomfortable. I will go back to using Congleton and Crewe.

Worst pharmacy ever!! Don?t bother sending your prescriptions to this pharmacy unless you want to spend half an hour waiting for a pharmacist to just check it the medication once it?s been dispensed!!
After today?s experience I will be requesting my GP to send my prescriptions to another pharmacy!

I've read most of the reviews for this store, and I understand peoples greviences, I really do. However, I think it is unfair to blame this stores staff for the issues people are raising. I have been using this store as a pharmacy and my toiletries for many years since moving to the area, so much so that they know me on a first name basis now, which i like!
The pharmacy: Yes the pharmacy can get busy and the line can be long, but there is a GP practice is right next door to this store, so people SHOULD expect it to be a popular pharmacy. That being said, I have never waited more than 10 minutes to obtain a repeat prescription, and again, staff are always helpful and friendly. If you're going to be less than nice to them then why expect anyone to be nice to you, treat others how you would want to be treated, they are providing a vital service to this community and they dont deserve to be treated disrespectfully.
The general store: This store is incredibly under-staffed, this is not the store staffs fault and it would be the responsibility of the store manager to resolve this with the support of Boots corp central office. Maybe this has been approached but because its a small store they wont let them take on any additional staff. All staff I have encountered have been friendly, helpful and easy to talk to, including the pharmisists.
My one any only gripe, which a recent review mentioned, is the store security guy, as soon as you walk into the store and start going to the isles he literally stalks you around the store, and it is very obvious that this is what he is doing, it makes you feel VERY uncomfortable and I have confronted him previously asking him why is he following me; do i look like a criminal? This needs to be resolved as It will discourage customers from the store. I understand that security is required for stores that experience frequent shop-lifting, but not everyone is a criminal and not everyone should be treated as such and be made to feel unwelcome and stalked. The store has many cameras that cover most isles so there is no need for the security guy to follow you around while you shop. Because of this only factor, I have stopped shopping for toiletries in this store and instead do click and collect because of the intimidating behaviour of the security guard. (the -2 stars is for the security guard only :) )
And finally, for the people who raised stock issues, this isnt unique to this store. That being said, you can go onto the boots website and check medication stock for all boots pharmacies before going to any boots, its not hard and could save you the trip and some time. :)

I understand security has to to in place but went in today to purchase an item only to find glass cabinets locked waited 10mins for someone to unlock the cabinet.But we were kept waiting so we walked out in disgust my wife only wanted an eye liner pencil. Shall not be going to the store again

I understand the reason for security in places like boots, and the fact that anyone can steal. However i don?t appreciate being blatantly followed around the store in every single aisle I go in. I walked in and the security guy came walking over so quickly and stayed watching me the whole time.
