Both times, they were not busy and able to help immediately. One minor gripe I was not asked what brand of tire I wanted, but so far, they are ok. With the type of car I have road noise I a problem I like a quieter tire but I'll mention it next time not a big problem they are not too bad. Cheers, guys. I have recommended you to people.”

“The lads at Booths are fantastic, always been great with me when I’ve needed stuff done on my car and never tried to rip me off like other garages I’ve used… very handy that they are at the top of my road too! I stupidly forgot about my MOT (even though they txt to remind me weeks before) and when I nipped in on my way home today to ask them to top my coolant up they told me I was 4 days overdue. “I recently took my car to Halfords Autocentre at Tunstall, for the first time. My brakes were "spongy" and didn't feel right. I phoned and got an appointment the following day, they contacted me after a couple of hours with the diagnosis and subsequently carried out necessary work required. I was very satisfied with the service, costs were probably average and overall I felt like I had received good value for money. Whilst the car was with them they checked the battery, etc. The car needed brake pads on the front, interestingly a local tyre garage in Butt Lane had tried to upsell pads AND new discs only a few weeks ago. Obviously that garage was trying to rip me off, which causes me to doubt the three tyres they sold me, when I only had a query on one. Wish I had purchased the tyres from Halfords. Would definitely use them again. Special thanks to mechanic Gary who took the time to explain exactly what work he had carried out on my car.”
