“Went in Hanley branch stoke on trent a few days ago. Was greeted by a young man and asked whatvi needed. He asked me to wait and have a coffee or pop back in half an hour to see another member of staff.
I went back at the alloted time and a young man called Miles sorted out all my transactions and other issues. He explained everything and went through it all in a easy to understand way. This branch is so friendly and helpful. Thank you”

“Used to live in Bucknall so used it a lot lol and even now I'll go there cus it's familiar to me. Great place to either pop in pop out or do your main shop as they have a great range of products. Great helpful, polite and riendly staff as long as you pay for your carrier bags lol. I always had to double up cus the bags kept breaking and made me pay for both of them, which yes so I should I hear you say, but even though their carrier bags were sub standard and often broke before you left the store ( to which they would happily change no quibble) it didn't help you when you were half way home and that's obviously the time that they would choose to break and scatter my shopping everywhere lol. Plenty of parking and a great place for wheelchair access.”

“I was just in your store and was almost attacked by a guest and your staff i think started it.
One of the guests called over to me and said. "This staff has something to say, he thinks you have caught the sun on your bald head2. At this time your staff member laughed. Then the guest started to try and pick me up. I laughed it off and walked away. Your staff member again laughed at the situation. It was the Asda in Fenton. I went into the store around 9:55pm on Saturday the 11th May 2024. Completely shocked how all of your staff acted but mainly this one.
I am shocked this has happened tonight in one of your store. If you watch the camera you will be able to see it all.”

I end up going to the tesco or aldi or lidl after work it's 2 mins out of my way, but they sell it! And I end up buying wine etc too!!! “I am a regular customer at McColls, I think your shop does some great offers!The customer service is excellent, the staff are always friendly, polite and eager to help.Yesterday the customer service went above and beyond.I don't drive and I was in a taxi on my way to work, I realised I had no cash on me, so I called McColls to use the cash point.I had forgotten my PIN number and was about to block my card, I was in such a panic to get to work on time, and a staff member called Wendy borrowed me the money from her own pocket, I was so grateful, I really didn't know what to do, I returned the money to Wendy later that day.I just wanted to write a review to show just how outstanding the customer service is in this shop.I do hope the shop assistants are getting the recognition they deserve.Thanks again Wendy...
