Disappointing Customer Service at Self-Checkouts
Had a frustrating experience at the self-checkouts today due to a staff member?s complete disregard for customer service. An elderly staff member with white hair and glasses repeatedly ignored us when age approval was required, despite assisting other customers around us. Instead of acknowledging us, she prioritised moving baskets and ignoring us to helping others on other self-checkouts despite seeing that we were waiting first, leaving us waiting unnecessarily. In the end, a staff member from the picking team had to abandon her work to assist us. Absolutely unacceptable and ignorant behaviour!!
It?s understandable if it was busy, but it was 7pm in the evening and the store was sparse with customers. Perhaps train colleagues on store/ customer etiquette, it?s not hard to swipe a card and approve paracetamol.

I will never ever use this store; as I don?t wanna be assaulted following a video of a security guard and colleague punching up a customer I hope action has been taken against them

Horrible experience - only asked prices on the wonderful display of logs, coal etc. at the store entrance - Prices are not on the bottom of the pallets as suggested and no I can't bring each type to till for you to give me a price.

I was just in your store and was almost attacked by a guest and your staff i think started it.
One of the guests called over to me and said. "This staff has something to say, he thinks you have caught the sun on your bald head2. At this time your staff member laughed. Then the guest started to try and pick me up. I laughed it off and walked away. Your staff member again laughed at the situation. It was the Asda in Fenton. I went into the store around 9:55pm on Saturday the 11th May 2024. Completely shocked how all of your staff acted but mainly this one.
I am shocked this has happened tonight in one of your store. If you watch the camera you will be able to see it all.

Do not ever come to this shop so racially motivated I sent my son here to get me something and he comes home telling me this one random lady kept following him all around from the moment he entered the shop and when questioned by a member of the public- was shopping in asda aswell she replied with?He?s going to rob it?s my job to prevent it? Kick her out don?t matter if your doing your job is your job following kids are you a freak ?

It is ok if you need a quick shop. Asda sells fruits. Vegetables. Bread etc. Asda got a rotisserie shelf and that is good.

Never have any fresh donuts available when I go at lunch time 12 -1 pm. Plenty in the morning so maybe a good idea to bake more ?

Me and my daughter can into your store today to finish off our Christmas shopping. The security guard made us feel so welcome upon entering. As we were walking round we met him a few times and each time he spoke to us both. As we were about to pay he came to us and handed my daughter a reindeer tin with sweets inside and said it's because my daughter was so sweet with kind words.All your staff we so lovely and helpful but the security guard really made our visit so special and me and my daughter would like to thank him again.He really is a credit to your store.Thank you and Merry Christmas ???
