I love the ease and convenience of Argos and find them always competitive on price. Ordered online and collected 4 items from the Biddulph store around 4:30pm yesterday and had awful service though. The girl serving me spent the first minute yawning away telling the other girl how tired she was. Then after picking each of my 4 items she stood chatting rather than getting my next item? I stood at the till point watching her chatting away at the bottom of a ladder for a minute before actually going up it and getting my item. I thought someone else must be getting my item because surely she wouldn't stand there chatting away in front of me while I was waiting? But nope, she was picking my order. Then when she finally came over with my 4th item she just plonked it down on the side, didn't say anything or even look at me, and walked off yawning. No 'have a good day or goodbye, or even that's your last item'.

I returned a phone to Argos in Sainsbury's in Biddulph today and was delighted with the excellent service. The young man, Joe, arranged the return and even helped me to select the replacement. Thanks Joe!

I wouldn't even give them any starsBought a phone from Argos biddulph. Developed a fault after 2 months. I was told that they are unable to replace it only to look at it. Won't be purchasing anything from here in the near future. Poor customer service.

Not worthy of 1 star. Tried to look at a smart watch to be told no you can't and if I purchase it it's apparently exempt from the 30 day return policy. Absolutely desgustinng customer service. Staff has no idea what they are doing. Will be taking buisness elsewhere!

My visit today wasn't as pleasant as it usually is. Firstly I accept I was slightly not totally behind the screen but I was wearing a mask and was also 2 metres away from the staff member, I admit to being in the wrong. The lady that served me then told me next time to use the one way system, admittedly I did walk the short way to the collection point as no other member of the public in sight so didn't see a problem. The assistant then said other members of the public may follow by my example. Yes I did take a short cut but did it mainly due to a health condition with my foot. This lady needs training that disabilities are hidden and shouldn't be so sharp with me therefore customer service training would also be a help. I find the younger generation of staff in there are alot more pleasant and polite. No one is perfect. I certainly aren't but will admit that.

My partner bought a tv it was quite large no one would help him they Just stud their watching him ! I don't call this customer service do you ! They said that they could not help my partner because of the virus ok l understand that they could have put it on the shopping trolley for him . My partner is retired is this the way you treat a pensioner it's disgusting.

I had to wait behind another member of staff who wanted to chat. No one else serving. I will go to Tustall next time the 10 minute drive will still mean I ger served quicker.
