Terrible customer service. Returned an item and was told that she ?would allow a return just this once?, even though the item was visibly damaged, but had not been removed from the packaging. Would never buy from Stoke Argos again. And the lady who was dealing with me, really needs to attend a customer service course.

Terrible experience as well!!! Asked the girl who?s working alone at 11th Feb evening 19:00 to exchange a dirty AirPods which she just give to me, she?s rude and lie to me this is the last one in this Argo, after I checked the storage they have she bring a dirtier one. And I asked a refund because I?m spending the same money on the AirPods as Apple sold especially it?s a gift so I don?t want a dirty one.
According to her unprofessional service, she left the AirPods outside which she?s gonna find another one for me. When I asked refund, she is asking me if I stole their AirPods, if i replaced this AirPods they are selling. This is so offensive way to ask a customer if they steal anything! And this is a insult for everyone who trusted your store and trying to buy something from here. Is it because she saw me as a nice Asian? So she can be rude to me like this? Argo you better give me a good reason, or i definitely gonna tell Asian community about this unfairly treatment, because after I left and go back I saw she?s treating a white old gentleman nicely and smiling. Otherwise, she was saying:? it?s ok for me? which means this dirty AirPods is ok for her, all I wanna say is because your low standards of your whole life, I don?t know what low quality marriage or family issue you have, but I am totally different from you, that?s the reason I earn more money than you, and you only can find a sales job and let your life?s misfortune out in the conversations with customer.
I?ve remember your name. But I don?t wanna say it out cuz I still wanna give you a chance to change your bad personality, stop being pathetic and maybe you will keep this minimum wage job thank you

Terrible Experience at Argos ? Manager Steve is Outrageous!
Located at Argos Stoke-on-Trent London Road (Inside Sainsbury's)
I had the worst experience of my life at Argos recently located at Argos Stoke-on-Trent London Road (Inside Sainsbury's) and I will NEVER shop there again. I went to return a faulty TV that stopped working after just a week, and instead of resolving the issue, I was treated with utter disrespect and hostility by their so-called manager, Steve.
From the moment I explained the situation, Steve was rude and dismissive. He didn?t even bother to listen properly before cutting me off, saying they can?t take the TV because they can?t check it and they don?t have the space to store the TV, and also accusing me of causing the damage myself. His attitude was outright aggressive?raising his voice, rolling his eyes, and speaking to me as if I were some kind of inconvenience. It was appalling.
What made this situation even worse was Steve?s blatantly racist undertones. His condescending comments and the way he treated me compared to other customers (who were clearly not being spoken to in the same way) made it very clear that he had some kind of bias. This is 2024?how is this still happening in a professional establishment?
Instead of helping me, Steve tried to intimidate me into leaving the store without a refund or replacement. When I asked to escalate the issue, he smirked and said, ?Good luck with that.? It was beyond frustrating and humiliating.
I had to fight tooth and nail to get anyone else to take me seriously. Eventually, another staff member located in Tunstal, and guess what?! (Steve called them and said we will come.) stepped in and sorted things out, explained how we need to proceed and spoke calmly, but the damage was already done. The entire experience was ruined by Steve?s appalling behavior. In the end we called Samsung and proofed that the TV was slow, but we spent all full day doing that by ourselves! Could you imagine that! You are buying from Argos paying for insurance and in the end they are rude and refusing to take tv back until YOU, will call Samsung, spending your time to explain and to solve the situation, until someone who is paid working at Argos will just chill there and will do nothing to help you. Disgusting!
Argos, if you care about your customers at all, you need to reevaluate your hiring decisions. A manager like Steve has no business interacting with the public. Absolutely disgraceful service. Avoid at all costs!

They should have more knowledge and trained for customer service. The girl did not know which ink was supporting my printer I bought from them even when I did show them the printer model. I had to search it from a different site and place order from them on screen.They could just grab me the product once I ordered.

I visited this store today, I had the worst experience today, there was a male worker his name was James, and there was two female workers I can?t remember their names. I spoke to my manufacturer numatic and they are more than happy to replace my product with another one, but Argos won?t accept me exchanging, they said I?ve got no warranty, I?ve got 9 months left, and on top of that numatic have an extended warranty of 2 years with Argos for faulty products, they have failed to accept my product back, they said to me make a video, this is absolutely terrible service, I mentioned to them i have my disabled son how am I mean to make a video for you showing you when it trip, the excuses they made just to not help me. Spoke to manufacturer infront of them and they are helping me picking it up from me. Just some advice you have been recorded and I am a public figure and I will be posting and making Argos service viral as it?s terrible, fix up, do not shop here at stoke on trent Sainsbury Argos on London road.

I visited the store today to return an item which I bought as a Christmas present for a family member. The argos website specifically says that if you wish to make a return you can visit any argos store. I was confronted by a gentleman at this store who first told me he would be happy to exchange the item, I explained that this was not what I was asking for. When I repeated my request for a refund. He then said that they could not process the refund at this store due to 'stock levels'. Very poor customer service, this resulted in me travelling to another Argos store who processed my refund with no quibbles.

I went into Argos to bring back my laptop that was faulty this morning. Just because it was 2 months since I purchased it they want to tell me that I have to call the manufacturer and send it off for it to be repaired. I called the manufacturer and I told them I bought one similar in the past and when it was sent off for repair and came back it was damaged and had malware and spyware. In the end I had to buy a new one.A lovely lady I spoke to and she said I'm within my rights to have it replaced. When I went back to this store and explained what she said the employee went into the back and spoke to the manager (cut a long story short) the manager came back and said I have to get it repaired because it's passed 30 days. I said I'm a customer and I have rights. He kicked off and so we're not giving you a replacement. He was shouting at me and I said this is because I'm black. That's when he was aggressive and told me to leave the store and don't come back! He was very unprofessional and out of order. I had to go to another Argos Store and they were happy to give me an exchange.As long as I live so help me God I will never go to this store. Racist folks work there.
