This is my 2nd set of glasses from Webb, Lucas & Stubbs and I went for varifocals + readers this time round. The staff were very thorough in the eye excaminations, sight tests and the drawing up of the glasses. Lots of contact time with the staff meant that I was able to build a good rapport with them. The shop's interior is smart and clean. They serve hot drinks as well and it's nice to smell coffee in this sort of settings than the clinical smell in a hospital setting where I used to have my sight tested! I'm particularly pleased with my varifocals and it only took me 1 day to get used to them :-)

I've been using Webb Lucas for 30 years and I have aways had a polite, prompt, swift and efficient service. My contact lens fit is a bit complex but they have always fitted me superbly with no issues.The staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to helpIf you are looking for a great optician then look no further (no pun intended) I can strongly recommend

The staff are all very helpful and welcoming. The two optometrists I saw recently were efficient, thorough and very professional. They explained all the procedures and ways ahead clearly and patiently. I have nothing but praise for the whole team.

You don't have enough stars, 6 at least would be better. I just received my first pair of distance glasses with all the trimmings , they are brilliant, thanks to the optemetrist and 'fitting' specialist. I've been a customer for many years so no negative feedback at all.

I cannot fault the exceptional service I received today, from the moment the door was unlocked until I was let out! I had a few concerns about my eyes but my fears were allayed by a very detailed explanation of the test results by Rachel. I also left with my slightly wonky glasses adjusted to perfection!
