A busy, clean and well presented hotel offering us a great value stay.
Friendly and helpful staff really added to the experience.
It's quite special having breakfast while canal boats are passing by the window on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal.

Had a fantastic wedding day experience recently. Staff were amazing, hotel setting was fab couldn’t fault anything. Big thank you to the night staff for their care and attention they gave due to an unforeseen event. Thanks to their quick thinking and attentiveness the outcome was good. X

Went for a wedding but didn't stay over so can't comment on rooms. Friendly staff and the catering was very good.

Moated Manor House with fine medieval architecture, now combined into a lovingly restored 41 bedroom, 4 star privately owned hotel in the heart of Staffordshire.
Our restaurant has an excellent local reputation and has won many awards including Taste of Staffordshire and 2 AA Rosettes. Log burning stoves in the bar are perfect for winter days or lazy summers spent sitting by the moat sipping a g&t or pint of real ale.
The Moat House is the perfect venue for a meeting with conference facilities available from 2 to 150 delegates.
