I?ve been into Stafford branch a few times now and the staff are really helpful. Customer service is excellent. Nationwide are so much better than my previous bank, it?s a breath of fresh air.

Great building society locally, as I found customer service dreadful through telephone banking - I changed who I have my account with. I work from home 4 or 5 days per week which is why I needed to rely on telephone banking at times. I still do have my mortgage with them though.

I had a very frustrating experience at Nationwide. I was told I could open a joint account in person last week and was advised to bring all my ID documents and I atteneded there today was told same thing and after waiting at the branch to be seen, we were then directed to use an iPad to open the account. If I had been informed about this process beforehand, I wouldn?t have wasted my precious time visiting the branch and just gone online.
To make matters worse, I recently visited the Cooperative Bank, and their service was far more efficient and customer-friendly. I expected a similar level of professionalism here but unfortunately, that wasn?t the case.
I hope Nationwide can improve their communication and processes to avoid inconveniencing customers in the future

Fantastic customer service! I think the one lady was called Ruth, unfortunately didn't catch the others name ( Friday 5th May around 1:30pm) They were both so helpful and patient. Both need to be at the top of the list for a pay rise.

Came in today to do a name change and the lady behind the counter was extremely helpful and considerate during the process. Helped me with every little detail and was incredibly kind with their questions. 10/10

Interogated on a public pavement prior to being allowed in the bank, then followed about .. not allowed to do the business inside the bank as per normal.. complete breach of privacy..
