Shocking service I rent a house with my wife have heating and hot water problems ....i.e. non for 8days ....rang numerous times for it to be sorted ....no action taken very disappointed and angry .....

Was told no viewings are available as tenants are still there and will get a call once viewings start. A day later I get e-mailed saying the property has been taken. Would not recommend.

I spoke with several Estate Agents prior to listing our property. When we met Jodi we knew we wanted her to sell our house. She was friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. She knew how much our home meant to us and was considerate and caring throughout the whole process. Nothing was ever too much trouble, she was on the end of the phone at any time of the day/night that we needed to contact her, and dealt with everything super quick. During the time that the sale was going through Beth dealt with lots of back and forth between ourselves and the buyers, and when solicitors were not responding, Beth did, she dealt with everything promptly and efficiently. What I liked about Martin and Co was that I knew who I was talking to each and every time, I wasn't passed on to numerous staff who didn't know about our 'case' and having to repeat things. They are such a friendly team and I would 100% recommend and return too for future house moves. Thank you Martin & Co you were excellent.

I have been renting through Martin & Co since December 2020 and they are the best letting agency that we have gone through. We originally viewed a different property which was not for us, the same day they arranged a viewing on a house that they felt more suited to us and they were right! They found our perfect house for us. We have had a couple of problems recently through no fault of the owner or the Estate agents and they have been amazing. A big shout to to Wendy who has helped us sort out the issue, has kept us constantly in the loop and even went above and beyond over weekends and I can imagine her days off. She definitely deserves recognition ??. Thank you so much Wendy. I highly recommend Martin & Co. No job is too small.

5 stars isn?t enough, if I could I would have given Jodi and her team 10 out of 10, I couldn?t fault Martins at all, having just sold the family home of 25 years for my parents to down size and move closer to family. There?s no corporate or pushy sales from Martins, Jodi came across as very professional and friendly from the start and we felt that we would get the personal service from Martins. From the first meeting with Jodi for the valuation right the way through to completion nothing was never to much trouble. With what turned into being a complicated sale and with myself not living in Stafford and having to deal with everything over the phone Jodi and her team were always very helpful every step of the way.Martins are a happy, professional and friendly estate agents with a first class approach who are willing to go the extra mile if need be.I wouldn?t have any hesitation in recommending Jodi and the Martins team for selling your house quickly and professionally.Thank you Jodi!

AVOID martin & co!! 2.5yrs I've lived in this property, been waiting for a council property for around 1.5 years, offered somewhere and I asked if they could deduct the remaining rent from deposit for them to send a reference off (made me pay £20 for) to the housing association that offered the 3 bed home to me as I'm overcrowded with me, 2 boys and my daughter in this 2 bedroom saying I owe the money and they wont deduct from out deposit we have with them. We paid to have brand new carpet put down in the living room costing around £240 as it was chipped laminate. Reported 7 repairs 8months ago, roof leaking/boiler leaking being 2 of them but nothing. So I paid £20 for a 'bad' reference so I have now lost the property I was offered for me and my 3 children. The house is in brilliant condition, I've always looked after my homes I've lived in, I'm absolutely livid with them!

Amazing service. Sold my house with them, Katie and Jodi were with me every step of the way. Complications occurred outside of their control and they powered through and helped resolve the problem. Kept me informed throughout the whole process and felt all the same emotions as we did. They really became part of our support network with the sale, and I cannot thank them enough. Katie could not have been more helpful if she tried. Would recommend them 100%

Money Money Money Obsessed!!!If you are looking to rent from this organization then stay clear.They have left me feeling Depressed, Frustrated and very upset.After 2 years being a customer renting a home in Stafford for myself and my son who always paid on time even through Covid when I lost my employment I still managed to pay the rent and bills etc.All the visits they do and supposed to come every few months to check on the property always had positive feedback saying the house is being well looked after etc etc.WHEN YOU MOVE OUT.* Will try to keep your deposit money* Manager sends harsh emails* They seem to loose records of works people who attend the property for inspections or call outs etc.* Poor communication, you will constantly be sending emails or calling to get updates.* Once you have cleaned the property to how it was when you moved in they will say its not good enough and employ cleaners without your authorization to do so.I have many videos and pictures of how the property looks when I left it and I am more than happy with the standard and condition more than satisfactory. Actually an improvement to when I moved in.Manager sent me an email today being very abrupt and not even giving me a simple answer to one of my questions.My Question: I would like to know how many hours you are paying for the cleaner to clean just the bathroom.Managers answer: The cleaner will take as long as it takes!This is after I had taken 1 day off work to go to the property to clean and the bathroom was very clean. Think the landlady is trying to sell the property and just trying to keep as much money as she can.Trust me guys stay well clear, I am a decent human being who works hard and always pays my way through life. I would not be writing this if I feel I have someway left the property in a poor state, I have not and for that reason I am letting you guys know.

Fantastic service from Katie and the team. House purchase went through smoothly and was kept updated of the progress on a regular basis. I corresponded mainly with Katie Holland who was very informative and friendly. Couldn't recommend Martin & Co enough!
