Serves little to no purpose now really.Closed all weekend when most people need it, way too busy at lunch breaks to pop in and get sorted.No counter service.Just a way of getting rid of it all together no doubt.HSBC online/app is awful to use so why bank with HSBC?Annoyingly the staff are excellent which makes 1 star harsh.

I had an issue with mobile banking, felt really irritated as when I called the issue wasn?t resolved. I had visit the branch, Rajinee handle the issue really well, she quickly resolved the problem. Great work, Rajinee.

Very good bank in general as they have one of the lowest rates in mortgages and good and secure online banking platform.It is disappointing to see that there are no more counter services in Stafford which could be handy in occasions. I had to go to the branch in Stoke to withdrawn £2k that I needed to pay a craftsman in cash.

Really let down by HSBC at Stafford didn't know that they had closed the counter service in September 2021 until this week when I needed £2000 cash for urgent roofing repairs on my house, no counter service and limit on my card only £300 so had to go back to cash point for 7 days to get out my money! Nearest branch with counter is at Wolverhampton apparently, i'm not happy at all - seriously considering changing branches. My friend had the same trouble and went to Santander who are apparently much more helpful and let you have your money.......... Very disappointed as we have been with HSBC for many years and up to now had no problems but PEOPLE NEED TO BE ABLE TO GET THEIR MONEY OUT!!!!!!

Counter services in Stafford have now been totally withdrawn. Staff apparently unable to increase my daily limit above £1,000 on a long term basis. So if you need more than £1,000 of your money you need to go to another branch. Staff obviously couldn?t care less about the reduced level of services and the impact on HSBC customers.Come on HSBC, you?re pushing my loyalty to its limits with your cost cutting measures - I don?t see my bank charges coming down in line with your reduced services.

I can understand the need for social distancing, but if they are going to change the opening hours, they need to update the internet first. I have made an unnecessary trip to get to the bank and its closed. I now have to make another trip out to return, if my employer will let me.
