Booked online a diagnostic for my BMW and paid for it in advance, after being reassured over the phone that my local garage was able to run this service and investigate mechanical problems. Turns out that Halfords aren?t able to investigate error codes on BMWs which resulted in me paying £49,99 for literally nothing! Now I will need to take my vehicle to a BMW specialist and pay AGAIN for another diagnostic. What a joke! If you can?t run diagnostics on BMWs you should clarify that online instead of taking people?s money for nothing!

I had to return a steering lock because it was not suitable for my vehicle, the staff exchanged this and were excellent throughout the process. Great Customer Service. I upgraded there and then to a more expensive product.Thank you for making this experience so easy and hassle free

Shimano 7 Speed chain. Purchased on Jan 5th, 2024, worn substantially and rendered unusable by Feb 21st, 2024. On the ride yesterday the gear changing was ghosting repeatedly. Used a bona fide chain measuring tool and as a double check I used a 12 inch steel rule and both methods confirmed a badly worn chain. I do three rides a week, on roads, covering between 30 and 40 miles a ride. Not exactly excessive. This is one of the biggest brand names in cycling. Surely we expect better from Shimano? I'll go back to using KMC.

I bought a GoSystem Blow torch. I did it online and the form said people also bought four canister Campingaz, so I added it to my order....assuming it was a compatible system and they would fit the blow torch.....Naturally.Well, it does'nt fit.

I was served by Ged at the Stafford branch yesterday afternoon having taken my Son's bike in to have a new front tyre fitted. Ged was welcoming, helpful and professional, he came out to the car to lift it out and talked me through how to fit mud guards to another bike whilst demonstrating on the bike I had taken in which was really helpful. He was on his own on the bike desk and other customers approached him for help whilst he was fixing my Son's bike, I really appreciated that he helped them as much as he could verbally without getting pulled away from what he was already doing and maintained a reassuring calmness throughout. Once he had answered all my questions, fixed the bike, added lights and mudguards at my request he helped me back out to the car with the bike and lifted it into the boot for me. Polite, informative and methodical. I have no doubt that his next customer was afforded the same courtesy and attentiveness and I wish more people worked this way!

I booked to have a battery fitted on the 14th nov and needed to change it to a home fitting , spent 1 hour on phone and got nowhere . Soent my afternoon talking to ash meet on chat but all she said was she couldn?t amend it and she would get store to ring me asap , store did not ring me , I still have not got my battery or had it fitted and now Halfords have sent me a receipt for my battery including fitting ,,,, what a joke

Terrible had audio review booked Stafford waited outside nearly an hour after going in store 3 times! No one came out! No one bothered to reply to my complaint. Customer service terrible! And today they invited me to review my experience on here! I have to leave one star as won?t let me leave zero!
