We bought two bikes here for our children over a year ago and Chris built both bikes with impeccable skills. We have returned a few times as the kids continued to break the bikes and each time Chris was extremely helpful, friendly and accurate with the fixes. Our last visit (with all the family) last week was the same excellent experience and we had a bit of chat while he worked to fix both bikes. You don't often come across a professional who is at the same time very relatable - Chris is both!!

Purchased some car seats which are on order and a jet wash that I should have been able to pick up today had an email saying there has been changes to my order had a search through and found that the jet wash has been cancelled with no explanation nobody bothered to call me to explain the reasons why just all round poor customer service

Had a proper debacle with my number plate falling off as the sticky pads lost their stick in the rain. Jake was an absolute super star. Really polite and helpful, drilled holes in the new plate and screwed it on. Even found different size screws to make sure it stays put. Thank you Jake ?? ?? ????????

Called on today to purchase some bike tyres,after being ignored for 10 minutes by the man and lady sales assistants who were bickering with each other I walked out and went elsewhere.
Really should learn some basic customer service skills.

My partner recently took his car to Halfords for an MOT. They failed it, claiming the screenwash needed fixing and that it would cost £150. He refused the repair and took the car to another garage, who checked and confirmed the screenwash was working perfectly.
He then phoned Halfords to challenge this, only to be told that according to their system, his MOT had actually passed and they had no idea why he was told it had failed in the first place. This means that if he hadn?t refused to pay for the so-called repair, they would have conned him out of £150.
Since this happened, we?ve spoken to others and unfortunately have heard many similar stories of Halfords trying to rip people off. This experience has completely destroyed any trust we had in them. I strongly advise others to avoid them.

Had my free 10 point check done by Tom at Stafford halfords today. Tom was very polite, explained everything he was checking to myself and my husband. Tom was very efficient and helpful throughout doing the checks needed , including a free air-conditioning check . Brilliant service thank you Tom .

Phoned Halfords today to enquire about roof boxes and needed to speak with somebody. Only to be told store does not have facility to take calls and I will need go to store. So Halfords don?t talk to people and you want me to drive 40mins to ask a question. Terrible. What if I am unable to drive. Why are you big stores so anti communication.

Just been in a shop wanting to return a product hulk looking woman at the counter is telling me i can?t and apparently my break pads have been used, absolutely disgusting was sick of even looking at the woman and wasting my time. NEVER COME HERE.
