Thank you so much for the lovely welcome and delicious ice cream. I took my Reception Class on a visit to Rudyard this week. Sam and his team were so welcoming and really looked after us. A lovely setting looking over the lake. I can definitely recommend a visit.

Took mum-in-law (98) here and sat inside by the woodburner. Parking by the lake. Beautiful views across and up the lake. Nice coffees, ginger cake and the biggest bacon butty I've ever had - with three lovely thick rashers.

Absolutely awful. Queued for 15 mins only to find -despite the sign saying ?let us know if you have any allergies so we can help? - they have 0 vegan/dairy or egg free options beyond a salad, not exactly suitable for a 1 year old. Feedback to take on board, serve a better variety of foods!

Lovely morning at Rudyard ruined by inconsiderate dog owners (one in particular)constantly letting their dog bark for the 2 hours solid paying him no attention at all ??

Had the bacon butty (nofat?). 10/10. The Wi-Fi is good enough to facilitate a call to Taiwan. Eventually decided to have myself an Americano to go. It was my first of its kind, and probably my last. Good times.

Visited today for a coffee and a panini ?with my owners . We where late and they were near to closing the kitchen for food , but they still took our order . Many thanks girls , much appreciated?. I took my Staffy for a walk from the railway station across the dam to the cafe. It was a gorgeous walk and a lovely brew half way round. My Staffy loved the food there, wolfing down sausages. Highly recommended.
