A massive shout out to Tesco Rugeley who tonight have gone above and beyond for my husband. He is now confined to a mobility scooter or wheelchair and has not been shopping in a very long time. Tonight he went on his mobility scooter and the help and assurance he received from staff, Bianca in particular, and customers has gladdened his heart. These small acts of kindness have given him a tremendous boost. Thank you all x

Tesco Rugeley used to be a great store to shop .. but not anymore .. the store has gone rapidly downhill over the last 6 months .. every week this is what I find .. one cashier on tills with queues with two to three members of staff at that little desk and computer in between the cash desks constantly gossiping about personal things .. not watching the tills to increase cashiers .. frustrated customers just want to pay and go home .. staff pretending to stick shelves but actually just stood by the shelves gossiping about personal things .. I?ve gone round 2-3 aisles and back to them 15 minutes later and still gossiping personally and not stocking shelves .. happens every week I go in .. loads of selection of cooked ham in fridges but never any beef left .. staff member said they only order 2 boxes of beef .. what for a massive store like that with hundreds of people shopping there .. ridiculous .. can?t do a full shop there anymore because of lack of products .. slow check out as never enough cashiers on .. and no I?m not using a self check out with a trolley full .. this store is no longer managed properly and neither are the staff .. hence low rating ..

We were served by a lovely gentleman on till 18 today and he clearly has difficulties, but was doing a great job and was very polite and cheerful

Good store, but often shelves are empty of produce, and price labels are missing or confusing.

We don't generally go in-store much so I can't really comment on the inside and staff etc. However we ordered online and chose to collect. Lady delivery driver was so friendly and helpful. She even made a fuss of our dogs. Lovely lady.

I visited the cafe for an all day breakfast. As a vegetarian I needed to order the vegan option. I asked to swap the smashed avocado on the menu for a poached egg. Not possible, apparently. They did leave off the avocado at my request but charged me £1.25 for the smallest egg I have ever seen. Breakfast was fine but a little flexibility in the menu would be welcome. I have noticed that vegetarians are rarely catered for these days. We are all expected to eat vegan food.

Usually I wouldn't comment about supermarkets, but this one impressed me. Came in on Friday night because my friend needed some painkillers and we were nearby, however on our way out, my friend tripped and fell. Staff immediately came to us to make sure she was okay. I can't remember everyone's names, but the black haired lady that was on the self checkouts helped us originally, who called for Phil and us massively, there was another two ladies but cannot remember anything. Just wanted to thank those staff who helped my friend and took their time to just being kind hearted. She's been to A&E etc, just a sprain but your staff's help really impressed me and I hope they can see this because a good deed always is followed by good karma.

This Tesco is charging over £1.50 per litre for diesel, when Tesco in Wolverhampton is charging £1.33 per litre for both petrol and diesel. The people of Rugeley have had enough!!!!!
