We visited the Center today for the first time as we had no idea there was a hub for veterans and ex service families. We were met by some amazing people, volunteers and helpers who run this fantastic hub. We have been informed that they have some programmes running weekly and hope to bring our children down sometime possibly on a Saturday. Thank you to Kathy and all those who have welcomed us in today- we hope to visit often and build more relationships with the veterans community locally. All the best with everything you are doing for the veterans and their families.

As an RAF veteran, I have visited the Tri Services Veteran Support Centre on a number of occasions in recent years once I became aware of its existence. There is always a friendly welcome and most importantly, a brew provided. The staff that I have spoken too are knowledgeable, supportive and the centre provides a safe pleasant environment for veterans of all ages and military services to chat, relax or to just sit in a quite area to simply escape from the challenges of modern life. Hopefully many more veterans will discover and benefit from it for many years to come.

An essential service to support those who have served our country without question and find themselves in absolute need of the centre and support service they provide. This service provides medical, psychological, emotional and financial support to veterans ; without which many may end up homeless and in crisis. The sense of community and the family it gives our veterans is next to none and the work that is done to keep the centre running day to day and the work that is done to expand the services available to our vets is incredible and modestly undertaken by a team of dedicated staff.

They are life savers and help rebuild your life around you want. They have helped me and my family on more than one occasion. Help them keep this centre not just for current veterans but future veterans who will need the support and guidance. It is a safe place where you can see the weight of the world lift of the shoulders of veterans whether it is their first time or hundredth time.

I went to meet a relative there who volunteers. Everyone was very kind, I was given a warm welcome even though I am not a veteran myself. My son is a serving member of the armed forces, as was my brother so I understand the importance of talking to others who have shared similar experiences and it was clear to see that all of those present value the centre highly and also the respect and comradeship they received.

My uncle after having served many years for the Queen and country found himself in a very dark place after the loss of his wife. The Tri Services support centre saved his life. He was able to get out into the countryside and do the things that reminded him of the job he loved so much whilst making new friends and family that gave him a new lease of life. I?m very thankful the centre exists and I know it means as much to many others in our community.

Amazing centre that does so much for veterans and the local community, from specialist mental health support, SSAFA onsite support worker, variety of activities and planned trips, community food Bank, welfare checks....the list goes on. Their care & support has been invaluable to us and many hundreds of others. You couldn't meet a nicer group of people with hearts of gold

Excellent administrative ability and team. Quick response to all contacts and a vital service to those in need. After its recent rehaul, the service is even more equipped to help veterans who thoroughly deserve to receive their help. A lifeline to those who have served our country and a home from home to show a little gratitude.

In my day (swing the lamp!) it was go and see an education officer (ETS) who knew little to nothing about soldiers, to get advice. Go on about 6 small courses, pointless. If only this place existed to walk into; ful of professional people: DWP rep for all benefits and housing grants - APC and Dissability War Pension advisors - A real local jobs person that only deals with veterans. These are all profession paid experts, full of knowledge and experience that will not only advise but, represent you and get you ££.Unbelieveable.Or just come for a brew and extract the urine together, you may even help others!
