Glasses are only good for reading which is not what I need this is the second time I?ve been and on both occasions the glasses I have received are not fit for purpose

Highly recommend, professional efficient, polite staff and great value specs. I have not been for an eye test for over 30 years and ended up buying 4 pairs of glasses, two for driving in, ( one of which prescription sunglasses and two reading glasses - 4 different frames - £140 in total - which I think was great value. Eye test was free and I paid £10 for the additional, detailed eye scan - totally satisfied.

Excellent service and very efficient and pleasant staff

Shocking service
Appointments ran well over, loads of staff standing around talking to each other. When collecting at appointment the staff member I booked in with disappeared and didn't tell anyone we were there, wasn't happy with my glasses and they said just see how you go on. Not impressed by the service or the amount of time sat in there.

LIN was an absolute superstar. Listened to my requirements and was so kind. She went over and beyond. I?ve been coming here for the last 5 years and she has definitely over achieved in terms of my expectations. Excellent and efficient service despite how busy it was in store.

I have been going to Specsavers Newcastle-under-Lyme for quite a number of years. In fact at one point they saved the eyesight in one of my eyes by fitting me in for an emergency eye appointment and sent me straight to the emergency eye clinic at the Royal Stoke as I had a retina almost completely detached, I had surgery the next day so all ended up well. The staff at Specsavers are always helpful, friendly and very welcoming the whole place has a lovely energy to it. A special thanks to Mariam the Optician who is sooooo lovely and patient as I am not the best with anything to do with eyes I saw her for my check up and asked for her again today. A shout out and thanks to Leon who did my eye pressure test he was so patient with me and for the first time ever my eye pressure test was over in a few mins instead of a few hours ? so credit to Leon for that. I have actually moved to the other side of the city now but will definitely be staying at the Newcastle branch. ?
