Today at Poundland a book of I e cream was marked down, because there was one missing. Actually there were two missing. The second had melted away, after the mark down, probably because it was so hot outside.

I have been into Poundland in Newcastle under Lyme today to purchase a few items,
This is not the first time but I have noticed also not for the first time the staff could do with lessons in manners, there was a lady on one till and a gentleman on another around 10.20 and none of them used any manners , could you please tell them that manners cost nothing as a please or thank you doesn?t cost anything as you would correct children for not using their manners, how can manners be taught to children when adults like these don?t use them

Went into the purchase some items wanted to get an item which wasn?t far from the til. Ask member of staff if I could grab another item his response was hurry and an abrupt tone. I really don?t get some peoples attitude. If you don?t want to deal with customers don?t work with people..mind how you speak to people. ( I don?t care if the shop due to close within 5-10 no need to talk to customers a certain way cha kmt?

Always a queue and no staff willing to jump on a till. Me and some work colleagues today bought some food for our lunch and everything tasted off or not quite right so was binned, would like to know how the food is stored considering it all tasted funny!! One of the male staff scans the items and then keeps them right over the counter and doesn?t pass them to you once the transaction is complete so u have to reach over for them, a little bit of customer service wouldn?t go far. There?s a woman with blonde hair who works the morning and another male member of staff who is always chirpy, they are the only decent staff, rest of them need sacking.

Basic stuff, store is a little dark

Loads of stock all under one roof so convenient. Quite a few bargains to be had as long as you compare prices with other stores. Some good quality items and some cheap but not particularly good quality. Difficult to come out of there without buying something.
