The best salon I have ever been to. Sandy is an amazing individual who is incredible at her job. She is the most professional but compassionate individual I have come across. I went to the salon feeling down and I came back out feeling confident and extremely happy with the results thanks to Sandy. If you suffer from anxiety regarding your hair or in general Sandy is the person to go to she will listen to your needs and aim to meet them to the highest standard. I couldn?t recommend her enough xxx

Sandy did an absolutely fantastic job on my hair! The before and after is incredible! I had an amazing experience in her salon, she made me feel super welcome and comfortable with every step of the process and it was clear that she genuinely cared. She gave loads of helpful tips and advice too on how to maintain and look after my hair. She?s a perfectionist at her work and I couldn?t recommend anyone more!

I have had an absolutely brilliant colour cut and blow dry today from Sandy. I went from lank and grey to a stunning blonde/platinum. She's a perfectionist and it's shows. I couldn't recommend her more!!

The best salon I?ve ever been to in a very long time - as a spur of the moment decision to get my hair cut this morning, I called a few places and Maxine was kind enough to accommodate me on the same day. The service I receive was truly excellent, Maxine educated me about my hair, and the before and after transformation of my hair was phenomenal. Not only is she a senior stylist, but she?s also a truly kind person and going into her salon was a really lovely experience. I would highly recommend Maxine?s salon and hope to come back very soon!

I was given a very personalised experience. I have several illness that can cause contraindications to some procedures. The attention to detail was astounding. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was discussed and explained. I now have eyebrows and eyelashes that can be seen, a new hairstyle and cannot wait to go back for my colour. Thank you Sandy.

My hair was damaged and burnt and thinning, I thought I would have to have it all cut off , sandy has restored it back to its youthful shiny amazing self .. ..thick with volume and now able to style it again ..took a good few hours with treatments ..but amazing service , attention to detail is unbelievable , at the end of the day you get what you pay for , it has restored my confidence in hairdressers totally and I will never go anywhere else ...thank you so much .. it takes time but it's worth it x

To say that I feel that I have been robbed is an understatement, and using my size as an excuse to charge more is very rude and unprofessional. Was initially quoted £90 but had to pay £40 deposit which I accepted. During the waxing I must admit I was treated well considering the nature of the waxing, but was told it may be a good idea to have bit of hair on my abdomen waxed, and a bit of extra hair in my intimate area waxed, which I was advised would cost a little bit more. Judging by the prices on her price list I was OK with this (although thought the Hollywood should deal with front and back). When it came to paying I was told we would have to pay an extra £120 on top of the £40 deposit I paid. I didn't say anything at the time as didn't want to create a scene in front of my dad and husband and was in a state of shock. My husband has since questioned the costs as down south for what I had done the prices are a lot cheaper (regardless of a person's size _ I am an 18),. My husband was told that we had agreed to extra works prior, and also she said that because I was a bigger lady it was more difficult to get in to areas and was a big job. I did agree prior to the extra work (which was not a lot) not realising the charge would be an extra £120 more for literally a couple of extra wax strips, and using my size as an excuse to charge more is very crafty/snakey.I followed all the instructions that she gave to make her job easier, so my size should not have come in to it. To add insult to injury I still have quite a few hairs that were missed. The price guide on her website is also out of date so I will be seeking advise as I'm sure she has not complied with trading standards regulations.I'm so upset, I feel like I have not got my monies worth, and I have been robbed and insulted. I will make sure that all I know in Stoke On Trent know about this place.

This was my first experience with waxing and to say I was nervous was an understatement. Sandy made me feel comfortable with such an intimate situation and I felt prepared for those strips to come off. It stings as you'd expect but it is seconds and it gets easier after the first strip.She even fixed the dreadful acrylics that were ruining my nails and bought them back down to my natural nail. They're much better than they were!Very grateful. If you are a worried first timer like me, you're in good hands.

I love this salon and have been Sandy's customer for many years now. The individual care and professionalism are outstanding. I can always count on Sandy's professional advice and am sure to receive the right treatments, colours and cuts for my hair - I have not been able to find such marvellous service anywhere else. The conditioning and splitender treatments work wonders and the safety measures in times of Covid are superb.Could not recommend fabulous Sandy and her exceptional salon enough!

This salon and Sandy are a god send, my hair is the most healthiest it's ever been people are always commenting on how great it looks, and it's all due to Sandys excellent work and knowledge. I will never go anywhere else you don't receive the love and care that you do there anywhere else. The cleanliness of the salon is impeccable, spotless and this was even before covid.
