Great staff in the Newcastle under Lyme branch of Halifax. Really hope it stays open.

The staff are always so helpful . I can honestly say that all the years I've used the Halifax in Newcastle ( and it's been some years ), I've never had a problem

Kate was very professional and very helpful. She guided me skillfully through my Pilates qualification.

Always found the staff helpful and pleasant when I have needed to use the counter. Service has improved since lockdown when the lady then on the door ensuring numbers inside the building was sometimes abrupt and rude. No problems since.

It's a shame I can't give a no stars at all since I sold my house the rude staff are so unhelpful treat 50% customer like dirt, and some of the staff think they better than all the customers, I lost my card and it taken them THREE weeks to send one, everytime I go in I being look at like I should not be in the branch, all customers should be treated the same and not differently

Halifax wouldn't let me pay in £100 cash into my own account without identification, she then started to explain the reason being because of money laundering. She made me feel completely embarrassed as all the other customers could hear her, as she was talking quite loud. I am disgusted with their service and I'll take my money elsewhere.

21/12, the member of staff on the door wouldn't allow an adult and a carer (appropriate adult) in together, but would allow an old couple who were behind us in the queue in together. Why? ? ? ?

Staff always seem to be good and helpful however there is a long wait sometimes.

Impromptu visit to The Halifax to close an account that had been dormant for over 15 years. Only had to wait a couple of minutes before assistant Debbie greeted me with a smile. The process took a little longer than expected and she apologised on more than one occasion. It seems neither of us close dormant bank accounts that often! Professional attitude by all members of staff.
