“Distribution is hopeless! My wife has been searching for the perfect shoes for a wedding outfit and thought she had found them on line at New Look. She ordered them for delivery to our local store and duly collected them yesterday. On opening the package she noted that the bag containing the shoes said Size 7, however each shoe had a sticker stating size 5 on the sole. She tried them on and they were definately a size 7. She then realised that the stickers had been placed over a size 7 print on the shoe. She returned them to the local store, where the staff couldn't have been more helpful, they reordered for next day delivery. She returned to the store today and opened the new package only to find the same thing, size 7 wearing size 5 stickers. To my suspicious mind this smacks of somebody trying to cover up overordering an unpopular size in the hope that people may not return them. This theory is reinforced by the knowledge that we, nor the shop staff, can actually speak to a real person. I did in fact get through to Security at the Distribution Centre but on outlining the problem my call was cut off.”

“Basically it is cheep and cheerful, affordable fashion, underwear/nightwear and shoes for the hole family. I especially like the ladies underwear, due to price it's easy over a few weeks/months depending on budget to totally overhaul your undies draw so it's all two piece matching sets, personally I'd recommend two pair pants per bra as a bra (weather permitting) can be worn more than one day, so extra bottoms means you always matching and feeling sexy or comfy, whatever your preference. Oh they also do accessories and random items around till. Give it a try, depending on your personal taste you may or may not buy lol .”

“Excellent selection of books in all genres and for a charity shop incredibly well organised. The other departments are a bit MEH but if you love reading you will find something you’ll love easily. Could see this shop benefitting from a refurbishment and changing to books only and really maximise a niche no others are tackling in the area”

“I just wanted to thank the wonderful lady who was working in the bra fitting department on Saturday 24th February. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name as I was a little overwhelmed trying to find a mastectomy bra. This lady shared with me her daughter's mastectomy experience and advised me on what I would need and what to expect. She was the perfect person for the job that day and went above and beyond to help me. Customer service like this deserves recognition. I am so grateful for her help and kind words ❤️ My 14 year old daughter also commented on her kindness and felt comforted by her reassurance. Thank you x”

“Oh called in earlier today as we parked at the back of the shop, we saw a male torso being thrown out so I asked in store if we could have yes sure it’s going to be thrown. We had a torso and legs oh boy me and son have had he best laugh ever, put leg out of window to wave at an ambulance passing they were in hysterics. We’ve named him Gordon and for now he’s in the car. He will soon to be dressed and put up for Halloween. Thanks JD xxx”

“Had a lovely half term breakfast with my daughter and got her food for free, really enjoyed it, helped the pockets and was able to enjoy time with my daughter, breakfast and coffee was lovely staff were very helpful and friendly...the young girl that served us especially.”

“Got some lovely clothes today. Had assistance when we asked for advice and the changing rooms were handy to try things on. Access is via an escalator but there is a lift at the bottom to the right. We even went back and bought a very reasonable priced winter coat so we left happy that we got sorted all within one store. There is no parking onsite but there is plenty car parks within a short walk.”
