Coffee was lovely and the tiramasu was amazing. Only let down was how unkempt the place looked inside. All the chairs were either dirty or damaged and the tables were nearly as bad. The whole place needs a revamp.

They stamped my card as another?s then took it back and gave my card with an existing stamp to another customer .. I asked why they wouldn?t just give me my card with the extra stamp they mistakenly did and she was rude beyond making an embarrassing situation & evidently can?t count to three because she gave them my card with and extra stamp .. then I get my latte and it taste nothing like is does every time Ivr ordered before .. won?t be back as there is also a much nicer inde cafe now in Newcastle that actually cost less

Although a chain, I love this place. Nice atmosphere, chilled music, staff polite and friendly. Dogs welcome. Food is panini type things which can be warmed up and there are always tasty cakes. I take my elderly mum here and she likes it. It?s a good meeting place for friends and you can watch the world go by from the windows.

The only cafe Nero experience out of 200 visits nationwide that doesn't award stamps for own cup or when using the Meerkat app. Staff's ability to be courteous and belligerent to customer at the same time was interesting. It will be a one-off...

Regularly visit Cafe Nero Newcastle whenever we go Newcastle for Pokemon GO. Great spot to relax, drink coffee and grab some mons.
