Fairly standard pub classics menu but done to a good quality and served efficiently by friendly staff. A bit noisy, so not the best for conversation and the car parking is a bit tight, but overall a pleasant country pub well worth a visit.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were amazed at how busy they were for Sunday and Monday evenings. They served food later than many pubs. The food looked so good we booked a table for the next night. We weren?t disappointed. Good selection, good service and good value

Had a lovely lunch here today with the family. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, food was tasty, reasonably priced and well worth a visit. I'll be going back.

Lovely old building, good atmosphere and friendly staff. food is very good, went there few times now and haven't been disappointed once. Good place to go to and visit again and again for food and drinks.

Walk in of 8 on a wet Tuesday. Made really welcome - great hospitality. Food was fabulous- proper steak and Stilton pie mash or proper chips. Great beer and great value for money. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Delicious sunday lunch- it was reasonably priced with no unnecessary supplementary charges and the portion sizes were huge! We called ahead for a table and although they were busy, they found us a table and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was great, just how pubs should be on a Sunday afternoon. Will definitely visit again very soon- thank you.
