There is a very ?homely? feel as soon as you go in, I felt welcome. The food is great! I went for Mother?s Day, and my mother couldn?t fault the place. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I visited the old swan last Saturday with my mum and dad. We have visited a few times before, but unfortunately I have never written a review.
The food has always been delicious and the service from the staff amazing.
Over the times we've been we can definitely recommend the lamb shank, gammon, chicken and stilton and Cajun chicken burger, along with the Belgian waffles with maple syrup and ice cream.
We will definitely be visiting again soon.

What a beautiful pub, walked in, needed a table for 6, the lady sorted it out even though they had taken a booking for 20 people. Brilliant menu, food looked & tasted fabulous, service was quick. Waiters were so helpful & polite. Definitely would recommend for anyone to eat there.

Is it even possible to give minus stars? I?ve never met a more rude person in all my life! 5 of us arrived for food and drinks but only 4 of us were eating. A person who I can only assume was a manager when taking our order said that as 1 wasn?t eating she was taking the end table away which left one person without a space on the table.
When I said that would mean one person has no place to sit she said ?well that table could earn me £60 and they?re all booked out?. I?m sorry?! I said there were plenty of tables for 2 scattered around which apparently were all booked. To which we were told to go if we don?t like it. I?ve never been so lost for words in my life. To which they were £240 down now from 4 paying people. Your loss.
Everyone avoid the place, this is no way to speak to a paying customer.
I?d recommend said person to go on a customer service course!
